Sólfaxi Holiday Home is een luxe vakantievilla in het prachtige gebied Bláskógabyggd, op 100 km van Reykjavik en op slechts 10 km van de enige echte Geysir-warmwaterbron en Gullfoss-waterval. Het huis is geschikt voor maximaal 8 personen in luxe accommodatie. 5 slaapkamers, 2 moderne badkamers en een volledig ingerichte keuken met vaatwasser en alle moderne voorzieningen die iemand nodig zou kunnen hebben. Gratis WiFi in het hele gebouw, voldoende gratis parkeergelegenheid en een wasmachine en droger zorgen ervoor dat dit thuis weg van huis aan al uw behoeften voldoet.
De vakantievilla heeft een groot terras met bubbelbad, waar u kunt genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht op de omgeving. Of u nu een gastronomische maaltijd in de keuken wilt bereiden of de barbecue wilt gebruiken, bij Sólfaxi Holiday Home vindt u niet alles wat u nodig heeft. De villa is perfect voor familiebijeenkomsten of kleine groepen die samen willen vieren.
Het uitzicht vanuit de panoramische woonkamer ramen kunt u genieten van de bergketen en de waterval Faxi op slechts een steenworp afstand. De omgeving heeft geweldige wandelpaden en mogelijkheden om te vissen, en raften op de rivier ligt op een korte kilometer afstand. Populaire toeristische attracties zoals de tomatenboerderij Fridheimar, de spa Laugarvatn Fontana, Fludir, de gletsjer Langjökull en de golfbanen Geysir en Kiðjaberg liggen allemaal binnen 30 minuten van de villa. Veel geothermisch verwarmde zwembaden in de omgeving, waaronder de geheime lagune bij Fluðir en ook veel paardenverhuur. Er zijn veel goede restaurants in de omgeving. Dichtstbijzijnde supermarkten en benzinestations bevinden zich in Reykholt, Flúðir en Geysir.

This modern home along the Golden Circle was perfect for our family. The views were incredible and it was conveniently located to excursions, waterfall, and restaurants. Had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!

Started our trip here. The house is a destination in itself. The views from the property are amazing. The fact that it puts you in the middle of several must sees is just a bonus. The communication from the owners was great. Would definitely rent this one again.

The property was very spacious for a family of 6. The bathrooms were large, bedrooms were very nice. The extra bed in the laundry room came in handy. The home is down a private gravel road. It had a great view. The owner always responded very timely. It was in the heart of the golden circle and 45 mins to Selfoss. Bio was about 2 hours. My family throughly enjoyed the house and hot tub and would stay here again.

Fantastic location. Less than two hours drive from the airport and you walk through the front door to a real 'wow' moment. The views are incredible. We visited in April and couldn't be happier with the property. One night we were watching a family movie but the northern lights stole the show. If you are looking for a great house in a fantastic location for a family holiday, look no further, this is it.

The house is beautiful, modern, and conveniently located to most of the sights on the golden circle! We saw the aurora lights every night we stayed on the deck. Really enjoyed the warm floors and water pressure in the showers, and well-stocked kitchen. Plently of space for our family of 5 and amazing views all around. Easy 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

I came here with a group of 9 family members for my sisters birthday. The hosts were great with communication prior to the stay, allowing us to have a smooth check-in process. When we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the amazing view and the overall size of the property. However, the host informed us that there is a possibility of mice entering the property AFTER the cancellation period had passed which we thought was a little unfair. Furthermore during the stay, there were multiple power cuts which had caused the TV or the WI-Fi to stop working (which was needed as the signal for mobile data wasn’t great). In addition to this, we initially thought it was great that we didn’t need to do too much grocery shopping as there was a lot of food and drinks left at the property (perhaps from previous guests) however a lot of the items are expired. It’s incredibly important that this is checked as I ended up having the hot chocolate and felt really sick after. Finally I’d like to raise, the property description initially said 5 bedrooms and didn’t specify that one was in the laundry room (I can see the host has changed this now). This took us by surprise and led one of our family members to have a really uncomfortable stay is an untidy room. We raised this with the host and expected an understanding response however to our surprise, the response was quite patronising and rude. The host was quite defensive and didn’t take in any of my points. Just some things to consider.

The house is beautifully secluded but still very central for visiting the sights. The Faxifoss is on the doorstep. We, 2 families of 8 people, spent 6 nights in this villa. the view is breathtaking. there was plenty of space for everyone. A big plus are 2 bathrooms, each with a toilet and shower. Agni is a great host who responds to my messages quickly and goes to great lengths to make you feel completely comfortable. If we are in this area again, we would rent the house again. thank you Agni for this unforgettable stay.

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, war blitzsauber, sehr gemütlich und mit allem eingerichtet, was nan braucht. Besonders berindruckend fanden wir die Lge mit Blick auf den golden Circle und dem gelegentlich ausbrechendem Geysir in der Ferne. Der Gastgeber war sehr gut erreichbar und hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen. Absolut empfehlenswert! .

The large house situated in a prime location, offering seclusion and a fantastic view. The jacuzzi was wonderful, the rooms were very spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. The kitchen was quite dirty, including the oven, microwave, and fridge, and the washing machine and dryer still had private laundry in them. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Iceland is definitely worth a visit!

The views from this house are breathtaking! We stayed here for a few nights and used it to explore the Golden Circle and even all the way down to Vik. Reference the online instructions that the host provides, because some of the printed out house information (like hot tub usage) in the house is outdated. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this to families and to others wanting to stay in the area!

Highly Recommended!!! Wife, two kids, and I travelled to Iceland to see the natural land and this home certainly met our needs. We couldn’t have been happier with the location. In addition, the place was very clean and full of all the appliances we needed to have a few family meals. We loved the Hot Tub and was lucky to see the Northern Lights.
