My family of 4 had a fantastic stay here and will most definitely be coming back! The photos do proper justice to the feel of this property. It was quaint and unique. Artsy and eclectic.
We booked 5 days before we left and I heard back from Alexis the next day so her communications were frequent and friendly. She asked what we might need and adjusted our stay accordingly (I.e prepping the fire pit with kindling).
Check in was contactless and thus extremely easy. The place smelt nice and there were clean towels, a welcome letter and book of local resources available. There was also fresh ground local coffee, tea, honey, rock sugar, kind bars, chocolate, fresh fruit, homemade granola, half and half, yogurt and juice for us! It was so nice! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with utensils, spices, soap, paper towels, and toiletries. You could probably get away not bringing any of it.
All the beds and pillows were super comfy per the description. The add-on back room with the loft bed is the coolest. It has a wonderful view of the beautiful yard, the bed space is fun, the rain shower is luxurious.
All the furniture and dishware was so unique and added to the feel of the place. The front portch swing is so enjoyable.
Lastly this place is extremely baby-friendly! We have a toddler and baby and there is almost nothing low for the kids to get into. The place is so clean and de-cluttered we did not have to worry about letting them crawl around. The back yard is also fenced in.
A couple things to be aware of:
-the place feels super remote and private but the street it’s on is busy and a bit loud. It did not bother us at all and can’t be heard in the add-on back room.
-the closets and fridge/freezer still have a number of items of the owner. Didn’t bother us though
-there is no tv, but we were looking for time to disconnect so again this didn’t bother us
