Gelegen in het hart van het Tioga State Forest, kunt u ontspannen en verfrissen in onze recent bijgewerkte hut. Mijlen vanuit het niets, maar toch minuten overal vandaan. Geniet van de volledig uitgeruste keuken, ruime grote kamer, met verstelbare bank, fauteuil, futon en zitstoel. Een groot terras om te ontspannen met familie en vrienden, dieren te bekijken of 's nachts naar de sterren te kijken. Na het ontspannen kunt u genieten van de prachtige Pa Grand Canyon, Corning Museum Of Glass, antiquing en dineren in Wellsboro of Mansfield.
Of stap terug in de tijd en bekijk een film in het gerestaureerde Victoriaanse theater in Bloosburg.
Veel dieren in het wild zijn gezien vanaf het dek: waaronder herten, beren, kalkoenen, vossen, marter, eekhoorns en chipmunks. Vogels en motten, kunnen ook worden gezien. Geniet van uw buitenactiviteiten op de grote tuin, of maak een wandeling op het privéstrand. Wandelen, fietsen en 4 wielen vanaf de voordeur. Fantastisch vissen in nabijgelegen meren, waaronder Hills Creek State Park, of op enkele minuten van County Bridge park voor forelvissen. Slechts een korte wandeling voor toegang tot duizenden hectaren Tioga Sate Forest om te jagen, wandelen of vogels kijken. Slechts 5 mijl van de Fallbrook watervallen.

Solo Escape

I needed a couple of days of quiet just to think and this was PERFECT! Don gave excellent recommendations for the hikes int he area, and there were plenty of good places within 30 minutes to eat. I would definitely return!!

Memorial Day Weekend Ride

What an absolutely awesome place! The 4 of us stayed here over the weekend and all of us were quite pleased with how everything was. The owner is extremely helpful and gave us some awesome places to visit and to eat while we were here. I would recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to get away from civilization - very peaceful and quiet - 10/10.

Quiet Getaway

We really enjoyed the beautiful mountains and isolated cabin, and the few deer we had visiting us from time to time. Was very nice to get some hiking in at the PA Grand Canyon and waterfalls. Don was very helpful with all the details and neighborly folks, whom welcomed us with waves along our travels.

Relaxing getaway.

I was extremly impresed with all aspects of this vacation. Don was a great communicator. He gave me detailed info on what they had at the cabin and what I would need to pack. He gave great directions and suggestions on local places to eat and visit. When we arrived the cabin was spotless. The kids enjoyed the wifi and the smart tv. Even though I said we were going unplugged it was a welcomed bonus for them. It was cozy and so inviting. I loved reading the camp book of other peoples adventures. They had lots of games and dvd's so next time we can pack lighter. It was extremly hot the weekend we stayed but the trees kept the cabin cool. I did not miss the AC at all. My favorite part was the campfire area. Its shaded and allowed for me to have on some days three fires a day. Lots of firewood on site. Again no need to pack any. Neighbors are friendly and we loved the area in general. We typically stay closer to the PA Grand Canyon but I did not mind the drive in. We had a list of places to visit and the kids just wanted to relax and spend most of our time here. I also loved that towels were provided. Less packing for me. My kids cannot wait to come back and are already making plans for a fall getaway. Thank you Don and family for making this hidden jem available. We will be back soon.

Relax to the Max at Das Good Cabin

The cabin location is great, feels remote yet, it's a short drive to town. Really enjoyed the quite interrupted by an occasional deer strolling thru the yard. Great place to relax. Cabin and property are well equipped, even has firewood for the fire pit. The surrounding area is rugged and heavily wooded with miles of backroads to explore.

Stayed at Das Good Cabin for 3 nights. The cabin is exactly as pictured....very comfortable and off the beaten track. If you want/need peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Communication with the owner was easy. House well stocked with everything you could need. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolute Gem of a place

This is a wonderful property to stay at. Well off the beaten path, getting to the cabin is half the fun! It suited my needs perfectly and was very nice to stay in. Well stocked kitchen, better internet than I have at home! LOL! The well stocked wood shed was great and we had campfire every evening. Property owner communicates very well and was great to work with. The area is wonderful, my dad and I trailer-ed in our motorcycles and rode the state park and dirt trails. The cabin is finished and furnished very well. If we go back to do more riding I will have a hard time not going right back to this cabin!
