Time Away is how we feel every time we stay at our cabin. We lead busy lives and when we get to the mountains, we truly feel like we have spent "Time Away" from the hustle and bustle of life. When we picked our creekside cabin, we not only had ourselves in mind, but we also were thinking about you! We want our second home to be your oasis too. We want you to come and disconnect from your normal routine and spend your "time away" in our Time Away getaway.

Secluded and tucked in the wooded hills of Blue Ridge, this rustic home will be just the place to get away from it all and spend some quality time with loved ones. With such an expansive layout, everyone will love spreading out on the two screened-in decks, in the open living area, or head to one of the two kitchens (one inside and one on the deck) to whip up tasty meals for the whole gang. Not to mention, a gas grill and ample seating await outside, so summer nights will be well-spent with a cookout in the fresh air. Don t forget to meander down to the creek behind the property, accessible by several stairs, perfect for leisurely afternoon walks alongside the soft, babbling water. Take a right at the creek to follow along Benton MacKaye trail for a five minute walk to Cherry Lake.

Though you will be perched in your own private oasis here at Time Away, the outdoorsy members of the group will be glad to know that they can walk down to the creek where there is access to the Benton Mackay Trail for hiking that leads to the beauty of Cherry Lake! When everyone is ready to head into town for a bite to eat or to check out local attractions, Blue Ridge Proper is just six miles away!
