Luxe Downtown Blue Ridge Bungalow

Geniet van de vakantie in dit berghuisje, compleet met kerstboom. Dit luxe gerenoveerde huisje ligt op loopafstand van Downtown Blue Ridge en al zijn vele eet- en uitgaansmogelijkheden. Gebouwd in de jaren 1920, is dit prachtig bewerkte huis geladen met charme en karakter: origineel beadboard, hoge plafonds, open haard in baksteen en nog veel meer. De hoofdslaapkamer is zeer ruim en beschikt over een kingsize slaapkamer en een flatscreen televisie. De logeerkamer heeft een queensize bed en luxe zwart-wit motief. Ontspan en kom tot rust in de woonkamer terwijl u tv kijkt of gezellig naast de open haard of vuurplaats. De gastronomische keuken met gasfornuis, marmeren werkbladen en roestvrijstalen apparaten zal zeker de meest veeleisende chef-kok bevallen. Gelegen langs de schilderachtige Blue Ridge-spoorlijn, deze meesterlijke combinatie van oud en nieuw

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Blue Ridge VRBO—truly one of those places you wish you could keep a secret! The location could not have been more perfect. Being within walking distance to all the charming shops and restaurants in downtown Blue Ridge made the entire trip feel effortless and relaxing. We loved being able to stroll into town for dinner, coffee, or a little browsing without ever needing to get in the car.The home itself was beautifully maintained, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. And the hot tub? Such a highlight! It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring—peaceful, warm, and incredibly relaxing.The only small drawback is that the hot tub area isn’t quite as private as it could be, as the tourist train passes fairly close behind it. That said, it honestly became more of a charming quirk than a nuisance—there was something kind of fun and uniquely “Blue Ridge” about it!Overall, this property delivered an exceptional experience. Between the unbeatable location, cozy atmosphere, and relaxing amenities, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Blue Ridge getaway.

This cabin was booked last minute by myself and my partner and despite the last minute cleaning at no fault to the owner, we had an amazing time! This was a great environment which included the short distance to the town, great restaurants nearby, as well as being close to all the activists we were doing. I also really appreciated the amenities that were provided by the owner of the property. The environment was clean, all items were provided, and we felt comfortable during the entirety of our stay! I would one hundred percent recommend!

This was one of my favorite stays. Communication with the host was a breeze, and she was so kind. This little cottage looks so simple from the outside, but it anything but simple. It's updated, has a well stocked kitchen, and is thoughtfully decorated. The fireplace creates a cozy space. The hot tub is the perfect way to end the day. The real star was the shower. Excellent water pressure and features. Bed was also comfortable. The location is pretty unbeatable. We walked to town multiple times, 10-15 min walk. So easy! I would definitely stay here again!

Check in time was 4 (with a lockbox). Arrived around 330 and was told we could not check in early and had to wait until 4, so sat in driveway until allowed to check in. Part of town is a little suspect and rough, although it’s only about 3 blocks to downtown. It’s not walkable though due to two lane road with no sidewalk.. Inside of house was clean and well appointed. House key was in lockbox outside, although my husband found a fake sprinkler head within 5 minutes of arriving with another house key in it, so that was a little unsettling. Driveway is dangerous and located at bottom of a blind hill. Has loose gravel and broken concrete making it difficult to get traction to try and get out of quickly.

Kristy was very helpful and always communicated in a prompt manner. The online pictures of the interior were on point and the bungalow was very clean. However, the exterior online pictures did not show the whole story. The bungalow is very cose to the main road with the rear of the house just feet from the railroad tracks. Although the only train that runs is the Blue Ridge Railway - not that big of a deal. On the ofher side of the tracks, however, was what looked like a run down industrial area (my spouse did not feel safe - especially with no alarm on the residence). The bungalow sits just outside downtown Bue Ridge which is a perk.

Great town and house. If you have a Harley good luck and a trailer as well. The parking goes down 7 feet and has rocks. Riding the bike down the driveway was like going down a half pipe.

House was nice and clean! Great location, close to town. The furniture is beautiful but not very comfortable. It’s made to beautiful but for relaxing.No ice maker! Some of the knives and dishes were missing but no big deal as we ate out most of the time. Overall the place was nice just not very comfortable!

Such a cozy spot. Well equipped with a lot of special touches. The front porch rockers were a favorite spot for my coffee time. The living room sofa was a little uncomfortable but I just prefer more of a high back to my seats. The sheets in the master were Devine. The shower was excellent. The home stayed nice and cool and we were there during extremely high heat. The oven looks new not sure it has ever been used.
