Delightful Stay
Such a charming place. Beautifully decorated and so clean and comfortable. Lovely and convenient neighborhood and just a relaxing stroll away from many cute restaurants and shops. The hosts, Jack and Leslie, were very responsive and provided detailed descriptions of restaurants, shops and local activities. Wonderful and friendly!!! Can’t wait to come back.

Great location. The Vrbo was very spacious, comfortable, clean, and had everything that we needed. The host Jack greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. When I go back to Bluffton, I will definitely stay here. highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway for 2
Host communicated the day before to confirm our arrival time. Jack met us when we arrived, showed us around the "Bird House" showing us where everything was and told us to let them know if anything was needed. Nothing was needed - everything was thought of. The location was very peaceful and a perfect location for some day trips to Hilton Head and Beaufort.

Located right in a Old Town Bluffton
Beautiful little hideaway in a quiet neighborhood in a perfect location. Nice assortment of appliances and conveniences, well stocked cabinets and a lovely interior. Restaurants, art galleries, and quirkie shops in walking distance. Jack and Leslie were warm and welcoming and offered plenty of great suggestions. Hope to visit again next year.

“Bird House” is adorable. Very stylish and comfortable. Very clean. Has everything you’d need. Very tranquil but with walking distance to shops, galleries and restaurants. Loved it!

Wonderful place
First and most important to me is cleanliness and this place was clean, neat and attention to details. It is an excellent location if you want to be in Old Town Bluffton, so convenient and charming. Jack was available if needed, and the bird house was quite comfortable and homey, It is a small bedroom, and cozy sitting area with all the conveniences you need. It is also quiet and private. I absolutely loved my stay, as a matter of fact stayed a second time until the closing of my house. I would highly recommend this clean and charming place!

Jack met us in person at the property, when we checked in. He took us to the apartment, and showed us around inside, explaining how everything worked. He had elaborate binders full of information on the area (restaurants, shops, etc) with his own opinion and experiences shared at each location. A wonderful respite in a charming cottage!
I was in Bluffton for both business and a little break, and the 'birdhouse' was the perfect place to decompress, finish my work, and then enjoy a day with family in a charming town. I so appreciate the care & consideration the owners provide, down to Half & half in the fridge & good coffee in the cupboard. I will stay there again!!

Best stocked VRBO we've ever rented.
Jack and his wife have decorated a super cute apt. They stocked it with water, coffee, chocolates and everything else you would need for your stay. The apt was really clean, the check in book had tons of good info. The apt was within walking distance of Bluffton. Would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was amazing. Jack greeted me when I arrived and took the time to show me everything I needed to know. He also gave me information on places to visit as well. He was so helpful and close by in case we needed anything. His place was very quiet and peaceful!!! We will definitely stay again. All the restaurants and shops are close by which was a plus. Southern Hospitality at its Best
The host communicated and responded very quickly on all matters weather it was checking in, what needed to be done while there, and when departing. Most importantly, we arrived at about 10:30pm (22:30) after a long 2 days of travel and really wanted some wine to just chill and relax with before going to bed. When we asked the host about the nearest grocery store to pick up a bottle of wine he told us the name, but we found it had closed, so he "VERY KINDLY" gave us a bottle of his wine for the evening. The location is extremely close to downtown Bluffton where there are many restaurants and shops. We also hit several nearby and not so nearby beaches. We recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing!
Our stay at the carriage house was Amazing. The property is located centrally to wonderful dining and entertainment while just a short drive to the beaches. The property is clean with all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation or getaway. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to unwind in the Low Country of South Carolina. Owners are equally Awesome. You’ll love it!

The apartment is nicely furnished and clean. The owner is onsite and responds quickly to questions. It would be better if there were more open flat spaces to put personal articles and less photo shoot readiness. But, our stay was very short, so it was okay.

Lee - thanks for the nice review. I do understand the comment regarding the lack of flat spaces. When you have an interior designer for a wife, it's a challenge to control her natural impulses. The “bird’s nest” is a cosy and charming place that was a perfect spot after a long day of meetings. The location is ideal with easy access by foot or car to Bluffton’s many fine restaurants, and the suite has everything one needs including a dish of chocolates!

Sweet Retreat in OldeTown
Our stay in Bluffton was truly a very special experience. The Bird House is a warm and welcoming spot in a the quiet Stock Farm neighborhood.
