'Neil the host welcomed us when we arrived and explained everything. The cabin was spotless, and full of everything we needed, and cosy and warm. Hot tub was a joy no matter the weather, and we really enjoyed a movie night on the comfy sofa and projector.'

'Lovely view of the Lough from the suite which was well furnished. The staff were all very attentive & helpful, so well done to them on good old fashioned customer care. Really lovely setting in the countryside with a cracking building inside and out. '

'We were very much made to feel welcome with a cup of tea and home made scones to begin with. The bedroom had a lovely view of the lake and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also excellent with a lovely traditional fry and homemade banana bread on offer. The owner was friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this B& B'

'Had a lovely stay with my husband. Staff were superb. Concierge picked up from our lodge and drove us to the restaurant since it was raining. Had a lovely meal in the Lakeside Grill. Breakfast was fantastic. Stayed in a lake view lodge suite. Very spacious. Some areas looked a little tired and could do with a refresh in the lodge. '

'First visit and will definitely return. Staff are really friendly, room was spacious and spotless. Proximity to all amenities was perfect. Food was excellent and portions were great. My only concern was the lack of knowledge and consideration for people with coeliac disease, that was the only negative factor. Thank you '

'Host entered our locked room while we were gone to draw the shades and turn our tv off. Invasion of privacy. Also, beware if you come here in the winter, host is a penny pincher and won’t keep the heat on in the house past 10pm. We were absolutely freezing and had to leave the accommodation because it was far too cold for our children. He refused to turn it on. '

'We zaten in het bijgebouw in een soort rijtje hotelkamers. Fijn dat er een keukentje bij zat. De kamer was klein en het bed nam bijna de gehele ruimte in beslag. Het grootste probleem was de gehorigheid van de andere kamers.'

'Wij vonden het erg prettig om twee nachten te verblijven in dit hotel. Fijn kamers, aardig personeel een goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Ook waren zijn wij erg onder de indruk van de stad en de omgeving tocht over het water/ kasteel en het geopark moeten we nog doen). Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug.'

'It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!'
