Instead of staying in Dortmund, we opted to book this hotel in Bochum since Dortmund Hauptbahnhof is only a 10-minute train ride away, and this hotel is conveniently located right next to the station (Bochum Hauptbahnhof). We didn't spend much time in Bochum itself. The hotel offers parking (we probably took the last free spot) at a very reasonable price. The same goes for the breakfast. Good free wifi throughout the hotel. The rooms are not...

'Ibis Styles in Bochum has practical and clean rooms. It is ideal for a short stay (study or prpfessional) or for the weekend. The service and the brakfast are good and the personnel is very helpful. There is always hot water for a cup of thee and a newspaper if you feel like sitting in the lobby. There are a lot of shops nearby, the tourist office is 8 minutes walk and there is a Mc donalds, a KFC and a cinema at the same building. One thing makes this hotel less enjoyable and this the noise....
