The Space:

The whole home is yours, with a gas fireplace, a jetted tub for the soak after, and outdoor entertaining at every level. Grab the key from the lockbox out front; the driveway holds four.

Your Bodega Bay location puts you at the heart of Sonoma Coast adventures. Start mornings with coffee and pastries from Captain Davey's Coffee and Ice Cream (1.5 mi), then explore the dramatic coastline at Pinnacle Gulch Trail just 0.2 miles away. For legendary seafood, Fishetarian Fish Market (1.7 mi) serves fresh catches and their famous fish tacos. The Links at Bodega Harbour golf course borders the property - you're overlooking the 7th green. Hike the whale-watching trails at Bodega Head (2.2 mi) or enjoy family-friendly Doran Beach (1.2 mi). Wine lovers can taste cool-climate Pinots at Sonoma Coast Vineyards (1.6 mi). For groceries, Diekmann's Bay Store (2.3 mi) stocks essentials, while Pelican Plaza Grocery & Deli (2.4 mi) offers a fuller selection. Getting Around:

Bodega Bay is about 90 minutes from San Francisco — a beautiful drive up 101 and out Highway 1 through farmland and coastal ranches. Your driveway accommodates four vehicles comfortably. A car makes exploring the Sonoma Coast effortless — it unfolds for miles in either direction. Cell service is light along the coast, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is a good idea.



Other Things to Note:

The home stays naturally cool thanks to ocean breezes and coastal fog - no AC needed even in summer (highs rarely exceed 70°F). Bring layers as evenings are always cool. The jetted tub is perfect for warming up after sunset beach walks. Your garage has space for storing beach gear, and we spotted beach chairs during our visit. Highway 1 provides breathtaking drives but can close during winter storms - check Caltrans before traveling. The primary renter must be 21 or older. From January through May, volunteers staff Bodega Head on weekends to help spot migrating gray whales - don't miss this incredible experience. Internet is provided via WiFi throughout the home. Security cameras monitor the front door and garage area.
