Besides the location we choose this hotel, because it seemed very authentic and pretty on the pictures and it certainly looks just as nice in real. Everything seems very well maintained without loosing the historic feel of the building. Also the view over the city from the tooftop is amazing.

"We had a great week at El Cid. The hotel is perfectly located next to the beach, nearby many nice restaurants and super close to a bus stop from which you can get to Palma in 15 minutes. The staff extremely friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was nice.
For the people wondering whether it's a con to be so close to the airport: during the whole week there was only one airplane that flew directly overhead. The rest was so far away that you usually couldn't even hear them, so you won't be bothered by this."
