'First time we stayed in a Shepard hut . Went to Cornwall for some surfing at various beaches . The hut is very close to wadebridge shops and pubs and there’s local supermarkets close as well . It’s very very quiet and private as well , and there’s a log burning hot tub , at the property as well and a couple of sun loungers .there is some cooking equipment if you are prepared to make a meal using 2 hob stove . As I can cook almost anywhere given a pot and a heat source I found it ok to cook meals...

'Small, but had everything we needed! Bed was very comfortable, lots of supplies in the kitchen. Easy walk from station, and the transport to the Eden Project was a plus! Also, the washer/dryer came in handy for us, allowing us to pack half as much clothing! Claire is a lovely host!'

'Retreat 69 was absolutely lovely. The caravan is well equipped with everything you need and comfortable and spacious. The hot tub is an added luxury and the fire pit and lights make it really special. Rebecca was a great host with excellent communication replying to messages quickly and answering all our questions. We didn't use other site facilities but it is a great place with lots there. Porth is just a short distance with a great beach. Overall it's just awesome.'

'Really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Lights. Amazing location overlooking the beach and harbour. Our favourite thing was to take the short walk down to the beach, swim in the sea and then back to the hot tub... magical! Also enjoyed the short stroll into Charlestown to the Pier House and many restaurants around the harbour (Charlestown Fish, Dough Buoys, HBQ are all good). Then there is the Coastal Path which goes from outside the property. Going east up the hill is a great walk, but going west...

'Didn’t meet the host but lots of useful info left about the property and appliances leaving etc including local areas of interest and a visitors book to leave any comments. Small but welcoming and comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need for any length stay.'
