Decent location, but not quite as advertised
I stayed at Casa Real 93 for 2 nights during a 7-day trip to Bogotá. The hotel has a great location—it’s safe, central, and just steps away from Parque de la 93. However, my experience was mixed.
First, the photos online don’t quite match the current condition of the hotel. The property feels dimly lit and understaffed. While the room was clean, the included breakfast was very basic and underwhelming. I had booked a room with a bathtub, but upon arrival, I found a sign stating it couldn’t be used due to a water rationing issue—something that was never mentioned during booking or check-in.
Additionally, there were no basic amenities like a hairdryer, iron, or ironing board in the room, which was a bit inconvenient.
Overall, if you’re just looking for a no-frills, safe, and centrally located place to sleep, this hotel could work for you. But if you’re expecting comfort, decent food, and full amenities, I’d recommend considering other options.
