We invite you to spend your well-deserved vacation surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Bohinj, in the heart of Triglav National Park. If you love breathtaking views and the tranquility of nature, and want the luxury of a fully equipped home, then Chalet Ajda is the perfect place for you.

It is located on an alpine pasture in Pokrovec, near the village of Koprivnik. With 130 m² of floor space and an outdoor terrace, surrounded by a 150 m² garden and forest, a large parking area, and proximity to hiking and biking trails, cross-country ski trails, and downhill ski slopes, this chalet is the perfect place for an unforgettable vacation.

The village of Koprivnik is 2 km away, and Lake Bohinj is 6 km from the house.

With its wooden interior and a touch of tradition, Chalet Ajda offers a cozy and homey atmosphere. Enjoy playing with your family, reading, or simply relaxing in the spacious living room while taking in the view of the alpine pasture. The chalet features a large balcony and an outdoor terrace with plenty of seating and lounging options, as well as a built-in wood-burning grill. Adjacent to the living room is the cozy dining area. From the dining area, you can access the high-quality kitchen, which is fully equipped with appliances such as an oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and dishwasher. On the same floor is a bathroom with a toilet and shower/hair dryer. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and a family room that sleeps 3 people. A washer and dryer are also available for your use.
A large storage room for skis or bicycles is located on the first floor next to the entryway.

Explore Bohinj’s natural beauty on foot, by bike, on horseback, or on skis. Learn about the traditions of alpine dairy farming and cheese-making, discover Bohinj’s botanical wealth, and relax by the crystal-clear waters.

Bohinj boasts over 400 km of organized hiking and mountaineering trails. Among the most interesting routes are the Bohinj Mountain Trail and a section of the international long-distance hiking trail Via Alpina. Bohinj is an excellent starting point for climbing Mount Triglav, which is accessible via numerous trails.
Eco-friendly transportation is promoted through the Bohinj Summer and Winter Mobility Cards, which offer users various benefits, such as free public transportation around Bohinj and free parking.

Bohinj offers numerous opportunities for winter sports enthusiasts. The Soriška planina, Vogel, Pokljuka, and Kobla ski resorts are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Snowboarders will have a blast in the fun parks at Vogel. If you enjoy cross-country skiing or hiking, then our chalet is the perfect place for you, as it’s just a short drive from the biathlon center and a variety of cross-country trails on the Pokljuka Plateau. Cross-country trails are also illuminated in Srednja vas, which is just a 10-minute drive from Chalet Ajda back down into the valley.

Bohinj and the Pokrovec mountain pasture on the Pokljuka Plateau are also fantastic destinations for hikers and cyclists, as they serve as the perfect starting point for a diverse network of hiking and biking trails.
