'Room was good and clean, the elevator wasn't working and ice machine didn't work. The hotel looks like it is being updated and may have recently changed owners.'

'The Brick Street Hotel was easy to find and the parking was great. We did notice an odor when entering the room. We ran water in the shower and the sink and it finally dissipated. It would be nice if you could cover the bright degree signage for the AC unit on the ceiling. It felt like we had a night light on and could not sleep well. My husband said his side of the bed was dropping and he did not prefer the mattress. The Artisan Restaurant was wonderful and the food tasted great!'

'Walls are thin. Heard people all night in the room next to me talking at a normal level. Can hear dogs at all times. People playing music at all times. Management definitely needs to walk through the hallways to maintain noise levels during the night.'

'Property and people were fine but the photos for the room we thought we booked was not at all what we got. Accordion to the Expedia pictures we rented a cabin, in reality it was a motel room so be careful when booking.'

'Simple, but clean and affordable. Suitable for a quick overnight stay. Pleasantly surprised by hard flooring, so no mystery stained carpet still releasing the odor of cigarette smoke from 1985. Linens were clean and beds reasonably comfortable. Bathroom was clean. I did see 2 or 3 bugs, but they were dead, which gave me comfort the place had recently been sprayed. I recently stayed in a St. Louis area H*lton that was in worse condition.'

'The property is old and it needs updating for the price they’re charging. Room smells like urine and Lysol. All ice machines were not working on the property. Lastly, because I booked through Expedia they charged me a $75 security deposit in addition to what I paid Expedia. They said security deposit would be returned in a few days and was charged because I went through Expedia. I’ll stay elsewhere next time.'

'Got to use the pool the first night we got there, but then they shut it down the rest of the week we were there because it had baby frogs in it. They have a gnat infestation on the whole second floor. They cleaned our room the second day and whatever they mopped with made our floors sticky. I asked for it to be remopped and the guy came up and said housekeeping didn’t want to waste a mop so he got down on his hands and knees with a spray bottle and rag to clean it. 'The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast attendant is very pleasant, helpful and attentive/cleaning to the serving area.'

'The front desk clerk was a jerk. He made me pay a pet deposit on my service dog. He kept asking me for a service dog license which legally he’s not allowed to do through the ADA. There was glass all in the parking lot. They have no breakfast. They had questionable people and homeless all over that area. Not a place you would want to be at night by yourself.'
