Gelegen in het hart van het historische centrum, op 5 minuten lopen van Piazza Maggiore, in een van de meest pittoreske straten, een volledig gerenoveerd mooi, ruim en zeer comfortabel appartement met een houten 17e-eeuws geschilderd plafond en houten balken, met alle moderne voorzieningen in een sfeervolle historische omgeving.

Comfortabel geschikt voor 5 (indien nodig 6) personen, het heeft 2 tweepersoonsslaapkamers, 1 kleinere slaapkamer (een eenpersoonskamer waar u toch 2 eenpersoonsbedden kunt plaatsen) en 2 grote badkamers met douches, met een moderne keuken en een zit- / eethoek
Volledig uitgerust en zeer comfortabel, ook voor een lang verblijf.

De inrichting omvat hoogwaardig modern meubilair, fittingen en nieuwe bedden (bedden zijn te combineren tot tweepersoonsbedden) met orthopedische matrassen van topkwaliteit, die alle elementen bieden voor een comfortabel verblijf - gekozen voor stijl en functionaliteit.
Alle keukenapparatuur is state-of-the-art: koelkast / vriezer, fornuis / oven, magnetron, vaatwasser, broodrooster, waterkoker en koffiezetapparaten, keukengerei, wasmachine, stofzuiger, strijkijzer en strijkplank en föhn. Televisie, dvd-speler en internet Wi-Fi zijn inbegrepen. Beddengoed en bad- / keukenlinnen zijn aanwezig.

Het appartement ligt op een geweldige locatie - rustig en residentieel, op steenworp afstand van de Via d’Azeglio die rechtstreeks naar het centrale Piazza Maggiore leidt.
Alles wat je nodig hebt is op loopafstand of maximaal een korte busrit.

Twee goed uitgeruste supermarkten zijn in de buurt (3 minuten lopen) en "Il Quadrilatero / Mercato di Mezzo", zeer pittoreske markt voor levensmiddelen ligt op 5 minuten lopen.
Alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden, evenals winkels, cafés en restaurants liggen op loopafstand.
Het meest elegante winkelgebied van Bologna ligt vlakbij - en ook de beste ijs van de stad!
Overvloedige historische monumenten en kerken zijn in de buurt, waaronder het prachtige plein en de kerk van San Domenico, met werken van Pisano, Michelangelo en Lippi. Dit is een perfecte plek om de deur uit te lopen om te genieten van het beste dat Bologna te bieden heeft.

"Giardini Margherita" (het beroemdste park van Bologna is dichtbij (10 minuten lopen), "S. Het appartement bevindt zich op de eerste verdieping van een karakteristiek woongebouw dat is verbonden met het iconische portieksysteem van Bologna en is bereikbaar via een royale trap, een vlucht omhoog vanaf straatniveau. Het beslaat de hele straatgevel op het zuiden op deze verdieping en ontvangt de hele dag door royaal zonlicht. This was a fantastic condo. Great location close to historical sites and piazza’s. We were also able to visit a few other towns by train an site see Parma, Modana, Marinella. Paola was a wonderful host and gave us some great site seeing and restaurant suggestions. 5 Star!

We loved the comfortable, well-appointed flat and its proximity to the centre of Bologna. Everything was in walking distance, with restaurants and shops nearby. We were greeted by our hosts and appreciated their concern that we should be at ease during our holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paola's apartment. The place was exactly what we had hoped for. The location was on a quiet street, but convenient for walking to the town square and also close to some very good restaurants (some of which we visited multiple times during our stay!) The apartment was extremely clean and had everything you could need (extra pillows, blankets, laundry soap, cooking spices, dishes, etc). It fit the 5 of us very comfortably. Paola was very easy to communicate with and helped us with any questions we had throughout the stay. We would definitely stay here again!

It surpassed our expectations in what it had to offer and its location to the historic centre. Paola and Ken gave us such a warm welcome and could not have been more helpul. Arriving late Saturday evening Anita, daughter of nearby local Trebbi restaurant owner took pity on us and set up an extra table in their extremely busy and delightful family restaurant. Overall we had a wonderful two week stay in Bologna band would highly recommend the apartment. We felt lucky to have found it.

Enjoyed a 17 night stay at this excellently appointed property and couldn't be happier. The location was perfect, easy to get to everything, great local eateries in the same street in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was spacious, well furnished and extremely clean. Our hosts Paola and Kenneth were very accommodating and easily contactable. We highly recommend this property.

Paola and her husband were responsive and friendly hosts. The apartment is warm and tastefully decorated. The air conditioning works well, which is important in this new era of climate changes! Best location to discover Bologna - it is easy to walk to all the historic sites and about 20 minutes to the train station by bus. I would chose it again and definitely recommend it to my friends.

The hosts of this property could not have been more accommodating. They made themselves available to me the entire time I stayed They were there to welcome me and made the check out process very easy. If I had questions about the apartment, the city, places to run and walk, restaurants, etc. they had answers and responded right away. The property itself is in a wonderful neighborhood. It is well kept and well appointed. The only recommendation I have is a minor one. I would suggest upgrading the living room furniture so that it is a bit more comfortable. I only think this is an issue if you have an extended stay as I did (two months). The current furniture is fine, just something to consider for the future. All of historic Bologna is at your feet when you walk out the door. I felt safe and secure both in the apartment and in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this property and Paola and Kenneth.

We are a mature couple with two friends who joined us for our 45 night stay in Bologna. The friends moved out over easter so we could have a brief visit from family with two grandsons. The apartment worked really well, with the two boys in the small third bedroom. Having two bathrooms was excellent. The location was perfect for us, an easy walk to Piazza Maggiore and just about anywhere in the historic centre or the gardens outside. The walk to the station is easy, but we tended to catch the bus to the station for our train excursions , which were wonderful. Paola and Ken are perfect hosts and responded quickly to any issue we may have had. We had a lot of dinners in house as two of our group love shopping at the fresh food markets and cooking up something special. The kitchen worked well. Highly recommend this comfortable, nicely appointed apartment. Annette & others

Everything in the apartment is as advertised, and Paola is very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Communication before, during, and after our stay was easy and fast, and useful. The place was spotless, well-located, and well-appointed. We did not lack anything and spent a comfortable week exploring in and around Bologna. The location is central, and you can easily walk to restaurants, shops, bars, and tourist sights. Look forward to a return visit.

We stayed here in November 2022 and it was just a fantastic location. The host met us at the property and helped with our luggage even though the property is on first floor. The home was perfectly suited for our needs. The host explained all of the features of the home and told us where the most excellent restaurants were just minutes from the home. A full kitchen, complete with coffee maker and washer were a real plus as we were traveling for several days. The cathdral/plaza were just minutes away with a nice walk to many sites. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Bologna....I would stay there again!

This apartment in Bologna has everything that makes me return to VRBO and its very best offerings. Every step of the way was easy and pleasant in communicating with Paola; the apartment is spotless, thoughtfully arranged for a group, has everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Bonus points for plenty of hot water and great water pressure in both showers, firm mattresses with ample extra bedding and pillows, an ample selection on everyday necessities. I would not hesitate to book this again and again.

We spent a most enjoyable few days at Paola and Ken’s apartment in Bologna. Before the trip, Paola communicated clearly with us and they were both there to meet us on arrival and gave a thorough ‘tour’ of the facilities. The apartment is spacious, very clean and all equipment worked well. The location is ideal, being a 10-15 minute stroll to the city centre with a couple of small supermarkets within 5 minutes of the apartment. Plenty of restaurants within a short walk too. Paola was very helpful in booking taxis for us. All in all it was a perfect stay with pleasant hosts who are straightforward to deal with. Many thanks.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two weeks with my parents and the property exceeded all expectations. It was clean, had air conditioning, and was a short walk from the heart of Bologna. Paola was a gracious host and extremely responsive, even going so far as to help us book taxis to the train station. Would absolutely stay here again.

Paola's apartment was magnificent! First, she is a very thoughtful and helpful host. Upon arrival gave us an great overview of the area with many suggestions for exploration. During our stay, the weather changed from very hot to cold. She was kind to think of our comfort and sent her husband Kenneth over to covert the system to heat. She also called a taxi for us as we needed transportation to the train station for our departure. They are outstanding host! The apartment is clean, comfortable, and spacious. It is located a short walk from the bustling Piazza and central area. This is nice because it is a quiet location yet a 10 minute maximum walk away. There are several nice restaurants and coffee bars within a short walk from the apartment. We are so glad that we booked this beautiful place as it made our two week stay in Bologna extra special. My husband, my daughter, and I had a wonderful stay in Paola’s apartment. It is well-equipped, very clean, and in a very good quiet location less than 10 minutes walk from the historic center. We also loved that there are good neighborhood restaurants and a supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away. The owner gave us a very useful tour of the neighborhood when we first arrived, and was very helpful in booking us taxis to the airport on our departure. We recommend this apartment without reservation, and would be very happy to stay there again if we return to Bologna.
