Mooi central onder komen
Zeer goede accommodatie in centrum stad. Jammer dat er geen lift is. Voor oudere personen zware trappen. Jammer dat je geen parkeerplaats hebt. Eigenparkeerplaats duurder dan dag op straat. Zeer goed ontbijt.

Fijn verblijf.
Prachtige plek, geweldige b en b, hulpvaardige leuke eigenares die elke dag een nieuwe cake/taart bakte. Als enige minpuntje: we hadden een dekbed met een laken, niet met een dekbedovertrek. Ik vind dat niet hygienisch. Maar verder fantastisch.

Perfect location - some challenges
Location is perfect, although you better take a taxi to get you to the place due to heavy traffic/parking restrictions. Be also aware that for the toilet you have to go out of your room to next-by door.

Excelente Bed and Breakfast. Very good location in Bologna Center. Romo was very clean. Bathroom is individual but outside the room. Breakfast os excelent with many types of cakes cooked by the owner. Excelente alojamiento, la dueña nos recomendó buenos restaurantes cerca del lugar. La habitación es cómoda y limpia. El baño es individual, aunque está separado de la habitación. El desayuno es muy bueno, con bizcochos y tartas de recetas locales cocinados por la dueña, que es muy amable.

Tiziana was the most gracious hostess — she prepared beautiful breakfasts each morning, guided our visits into Bologna during our stay, and was very helpful with logistics in terms of coordinating taxis. The room was spacious, quiet & comfortable.

La perfezione esiste a Bologna
Grazie alla cortesia, disponibilità e professionalità di Tiziana è senza dubbio la nostra location di Bologna. Si trova in zona molto centrale, ci sono pub e locali anche accanto al portone, oltre che in tutta la zona, e di notte in stanza non si ode nulla. Complimenti e a presto!

graziosissimo B&B, ottima esperienza!
Sono stata da Tiziana con una mia amica per due sole notti purtroppo ma è stato un soggiorno piacevolissimo e molto familiare. Dovessi tornare a Bologna non avrei dubbi su dove prenotare: proprietaria affettuosa, presente e premurosa, camera confortevole e spaziosa con wifi e tv perfettamente funzionanti, bagno spazioso e pulito adiacente alla stanza munito di phon. Pulizia eccellente, comprese lenzuola e asciugamani. Ci si sveglia col profumo del caffè caldo e delle torte preparate dalla proprietaria, colazione ricchissima sia dolce che salata. Vicinissimo al centro e a due passi dalle vie ricche di osterie e ottimi posti in cui mangiare. Un ottimo modo per stare in vacanza sentendosi a casa!

Bon accueil, la propriétaire m'avait envoyé un message pour me demander mon heure d'arrivée impossible de la joindre.Tout s'est finalement bien passé car je suis arrivée le matin. La propriétaire n'habite pas sur place et n'est présente que pour les petits déjeuners. Trop cher pour une chambre avec une salle de bain sur le couloir et un quartier où le taxi m'a recommandé de ne pas sortir seule le soir. Je n'ai donc rien visité le soir, seul moment libre pour moi. Très bon petit déjeuner, type continental avec beaucoup de choix et possibilité de demande personnelle. Si vous y allez au moment d'un salon comme moi, impossible d'avoir un taxi le matin.

We loved spending a couple of nights in Bologna and this hotel was perfect - central location close to many coffee shops, restaurants and the historic centre. Very comfortable room and we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was delicious, especially the cakes.

We were welcomed on our arrival by the owner Tiziani who gave us some fantastic information on where to visit for sightseeing and eating. And her tips were spot on. Casa Ilaria is perfectly placed to explore the city. It's busy outside but tranquility behind the door and the perfect place to relax after a days sightseeing. Our room was clean, comfortable and home from home and the perfect place to stay if you prefer the personal touch of a small B and B. We will be recommending it to friends.

OK, but not too comfy
First of all, Tiziana who hosted us is a very nice, cordial lady and we all would like to thank her. The appartment however has some nuances to consider. 1. It is dangerously near the ZTL zone , so you need to forget your GPS and carrfully follow the instructions sent by Tiziana 2. It has no lift, so you have to walk the stairs to the 1st floor (not much of a problem), and then struggle it up (and the next day down) a very narrow and steep staircase. Feels a bit like Sisyphus... 3. With 2 extra beds the appartment is a bit too small for the family of 4. Or maybe we just had been spoiled by the spacious Florence apoartment we had just lived in. 4. It has no fridge and no glasses, even plastic ones. Those are available however in the common area downstairs used by other appartments as a kitchen and by the owners as an office. We did not find it very comfortable. 5. You cannot have capucino for breakfast as there is no coffee machine. I am not sure about espresso.

Perfect central Bologna location with almost everything within a short walk and just divine hospitality. Permanent aromas of baking prepare you for the hand made breakfasts. Room was bigger than most hotels and extremely well appointed. Set in the heart of the worlds oldest university district but in our room you could hear a pin drop. Would recommend it over a hotel any time. Never done a B&B on a city break, always looked at budget hotels as we will be out all the time but this place has changed my mind.

Siamo stati benissimo! Tiziana, la proprietaria, è stata gentile e ospitale. L'alloggio è uno spaziosissimo appartamento in un palazzo in pieno centro, a due passi da tutto, nel pieno della vita notturna ma sufficientemente isolato da dormire tranquilli. Camera confortevole, accogliente e grande; letto comodo; bagno privato; pulizia ineccepibile; ottima colazione con torte fatte in casa. Assolutamente da raccomandare, oltretutto a un prezzo molto ragionevole.

The most comfortable bed ever. However a bit difficult to get to. The hostess did send me directions but she put them in an attachment that did not come through to my phone. The message she sent was just asking what tone we would arrive. She should of mentioned that there was a particular way to get to her location. TLZ zones all around her. She did take our plate number and hopefully we will not get any tickets but very stressful getting to her location.

sehr zentral gelegen, ruhig zum schlafen
Wir haben eine wunderschöne geschichtsträchtige Stadt kennengelernt. Leider haben sie gerade alle Strassen neu gepflastert. Der alte Anatomiesaal der ältesten Universität des Westens ist sehr schön. Auf den alten 100m hohen Turm zu steigen ist ein grosses Erlebnis. Die Kirche an der piazza santo stefano ist wunderschön, da es 7 Kirchen in einer sind.

A pleasant and comfortable place in Bologna
The Ilaria is a comfortable hotel with an excellent breakfast of home-cooked cakes and pastries, with eggs available on request. The staff are friendly and efficient. The one fault we found is that the bathroom is off the hall next to the room, but as it was only for our private use that was a very minor consideration. For opera fans, the Ilaria is particularly convenient, located almost across the street from the Teatro Comunale.
