'This was my second stay. The location is terrific and pedestrian friendly - short walks to beach, restaurants, fun bars, the historic water tower. A friendly and helpful staff. Free covered parking.
Not disabled-friendly: no elevators and all rooms are on second and third floors with steep stairwells. Basic and not fancy - no pool, breakfast or other amenities. Right on PCH, so rooms on that side exposed to traffic noise. But a good value for the location and price. I am likely to return. '

'We had an excellent stay here and felt comfortable being here and sleeping here. Everything was and FELT clean and the staff was kind and helpful. It’s a motel so the room had only the bare necessities (ie. mini fridge, small table) but it was perfect for what we needed. It’s a short 5 minute walk to the beach which we found convenient and we’ll definitely be coming back! '

The only complaint would be the metal platform that the mattress sits on would make random popping noises that woke us up a few times. Location is on Beach Blvd, but we heard no road noise at all. Less than 10 min drive to Huntington Pier. Make sure to try The Donutery one block to the north. Donuts are amazing! '

'The hotel was really quite lovely. We did find that the hotel was somewhat to the younger generation. We are in our 70s and we’re not always early risers. We ended up with a room on the inside of the hotel. There’s a lovely courtyard in the middle of the hotel Except they start playing music at 9 o’clock in the morning and we are not up that early next time we now know to ask for a room on the outside of the hotel and that will serve that purpose. They also have people down in the courtyard...
