We spent a night in this hotel and a full day walking around the city. We were lucky to get a corner room on the top floor with a magnificent view of the Bonifacio. The room has a sleeping room, a living room, and a spacious bathroom - much larger than I am used to when traveling in France. It was quiet and comfortable. The staff spoke English and was very helpful. PArking was free. From the hotel, it is trivial, to walk to the hiking area around the city and to the city itself. I would highly recommend staying there rather than trying to stay in the city itself. I would definitively stay there again.

L'hotel 3 étoiles en mériterait 4 ! Excellement bien placé sur le port de Bonifacio. Depuis les chambres, une vue magnifique sur le port et la citadelle. L'accueil est chaleureux et personnalisé. Les chambres sont décorés avec beaucoup de goût et de manière atypique. Le bar est excellent ainsi que le petit déjeuner. Enfin un parking privé sécurisé...

I had originally planned a shorter stay but after my first night I decided to extend. The hotel staff was accommodating in finding an option to make that possible and in general was wonderful at helping with any request I had. They also were so friendly and helped me practice my French graciously! The room I had was a suite - and surprised me with how cool the decor was (like a modern Moroccan almost), large sitting area, stunning bathroom. The bed was comfortable with good pillows and duvet. A kettle/coffee service in the room, a desk though expected for most North Americans is not always available in European hotels - but it was in this one. I used the heated pool in October which I also very much appreciated, including it’s loungers and its view to the harbour. Parking was easy once I knew where it was. Finally, the location was easy to get to many parts of the town - ie restaurants, grocery stores, the harbour, touristic options like the train to old town and boat tours, as well as easy to get in and out of town. Do note though that it is located specifically on the harbour and not above on the cliff/old town so you would need to climb up. As I was exploring the whole area - beaches, trails, other towns in addition to old Bonifacio this was not at all a problem. Overall a great experience!

Séjour parfait sur le port
Un séjour excellent grâce à un personnel aux petits soins. L'emplacement de l'hôtel sur le port est un vrai plus pour profiter de la ville. Même un 11 octobre nous avons pu profiter de la piscine ! Le petit déjeuner buffet est varié et copieux. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Tout était parfait durant notre séjour, le personnel, la chambre, les cocktails, la piscine, l’emplacement sur le port… bref tout était parfait ! On y retournera sans hésiter!

Great hotel in central location of Bonifacio marina, close to the busy working marina and historical old town. The hotel has great facilities, nice pool area. Hotel staff are all very friendly, definitely will come back again.

Bon accueil, la chambre bien placée face au port et la ville. Calme et la piscine très appréciable après une bonne balade. Le personnel du petit déjeuner est sympa et serviable,petit bémol, le petit pain n'est pas de qualité. Une bonne baguette de boulanger serait plus appréciable.

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très sympathique, aux petits soins pour ses clients. L’hôtel est très propre, bien équipé et très bien placé. Nous reviendrons.

Hôtel très agréable, bien placé avec une vue magnifique sur le port ! Une décoration soignée et inventive. Une salle de petit déjeuner et une terrasse où il fait bon se poser. La piscine est également un endroit agréable face au port pour un bon moment de farniente. Le seul point négatif: le bar extérieur et boite de nuit juste en face sur l’autre rive. Soirées jusqu’à 1h30 du matin le week end et musique très forte! Difficile de dormir !

L hotel est bien situé. Propreté couloir et chambre perfectible. Chambre petite avec jolie vue mais j aurais aimé savoir qu il etait impossible d y dormir avant 1h30 à cause de la discotheque extérieure sur le port.

Un endroit magnifique!
Un emplacement idéal, une vue sublime sur le port et la vieille ville depuis la chambre, la piscine et la salle du petit déjeuner. Nous avons adoré notre séjour malgré la taille de la chambre très insuffisante (pas de place pour ouvrir les bagages). La photo jointe est prise depuis le petit balcon de la chambre.

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Immer wieder!
wir haben ein Upgrade auf eine Suite bekommen - herzlichen Dank dafür :o). Uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten eine schöne Suite mit fantastischem Blick auf den Hafen. Tolle Dusche und alles sehr sauber. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren super nett, immer gut gelaunt und hilfsbereit. Kostenloser Parkplatz inkl., absolutes Plus in Bonifacio! Tolles Frühstück mit korsischen Produkten und schöner Terrasse mit Hafenblick - auch hier sehr nettes Peronal. Ein Cocktail in der Bar am Abend lohnt sich - der Barmann ist sehr kreativ und mixt gerne einen Cocktail nach eigenem Wunsch. Highlight ist natürlich auch der Swimming Pool! Wir würden hier auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten!

The Solemare was a perfect location for our stay in Bonifacio. It is close to the local dining, a short drive to the Beach La Petite Sparone. A short walk to the Citadel and walking along the cliffs to take in the scenery. The staff IS great, especially the mixologist in the Hotel Bar, Nino IS amazing! Truly everyone at the Hotel is GREAT! I'm looking forward to coming back to Bonifacio and staying at the Hotel Solemare! Thank you ALL

Excellent en particulier l accueil
Accueil au top, y compris de nombreuses informations pour profiter de notre séjour, plus besoin de passer à l'office du tourisme après ce briefing! Chambre, petit déjeuner très bien. Une seule petite remarque: la baignoir rehaussée (2 marches) c'est très chouette mais il fait faire très attention pour en sortir. Installer une poignée, une rampe pour sécuriser ?

Probably the best harbourside hotel.
Everything about the Solemare made the stay in Bonifacio very enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room assigned had a sea/harbour view which on waking made for a good start to the day. The pool was real good at a perfect temperature.

Accueil super. Vue sur le port de Bonifacio. Très belle chambre. Un parking privé. Bref que du bonheur. Ne pas oublier le bar avec de fameux cocktails. Si je reviens sur Bonifacio, j’ai mon adresse.

Wonderful location overlooking the marina
Loved our one-night stay in this modern hotel right in the marina with views of the old town. Our room was clean, very comfortable and had a small balcony where we could relax & enjoy watching the activity on the boats. Perfect for exploring the city whilst slightly away from the crowds. Lovely pool, & although we didn’t have time to use it the bar looked very attractive, great decor & overlooking the water.

Très bel hôtel directement sur le port de bonifacio. Très bon accueil du personnel de jour comme de nuit. Prestations qui ont dépassé nos attentes même si le site magnifique avec vue sur la citadelle aide à voir tout en rose . Je reviendrais au solemare .
