The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, bustling Boothbay Harbor, the Maine State Aquarium, rivers, bays, the open ocean - it's all at your fingertips! With plenty of space for a large family or travel group, this single-level vacation rental features two well-equipped, full kitchens, multiple tables and chairs for mealtimes or game nights, two comfortable living areas, a rear deck, gas grill, and a grassy yard for the kids to run and play in.

    After a day spent kayaking or walking one of the many nearby trails or land preserves, you'll have five bedrooms to choose from, all of which include TVs, each in its own corner of the house. Complimentary high-speed internet access is provided as well to assist you in planning your daily excursions and meals out on the town.

The property itself is in a good location as it's close to many local attractions: Knickerbocker lake, CMBG, BBH, Oyster/Lobster farms...etc. Loved the Duplex, single floor ranch setup and the rooms were all pretty large.The issues: - Horrible Internet/Wifi where we had no connection for most of our stay (worked for 2 out of the 7 days). With horrible cellular coverage in the area, it made communications and entertainment very difficult- Broken chairs: We had broken dining chairs in each of the units. 1 broke when I first went to sit on it. Luckly, it wasn't one of the (3) seniors that traveled with us as it could have been a serious injury. - Rotten/Broken plank on side deck: Very unsafe...and similarly, if this were a senior, it could have resulted in serious injury- Large Carpenter Ants: Quite a few large black ants in both units- Moldy shower: Large unit has moldy/rust stained caulking in the shower pan- Needs better cleaning: found an opened aluminum can on top of the dresser in the smaller unit. One of comforters in the larger unit had blood stains on it, along with some carpet stains.-Deck chairs: filthy, and required extsensive cleaning before sitting on them.-Nearby construction: The road & subdevelopment next to the home is under construction where exoribtant amounts of dust/debris are in the air. Traveling with asthmatic and immuno-compromised folks was risky-Sofa arms mostly all broken and not safe-Puzzle: missing 2 pieces
