'This home is a very lovely place on a beautiful lake. There are kayaks (which we used) and the place was very cleaned and well-appointed. Some improvements which would make it even better: a ladder on the dock into the lake; the larger bedroom had a circuit issue, and the shower is tiny and doesn't close all the way. Also, the first day we were there we got a call from the manager asking if it was okay if the property owner retrieved some tools from the garage to fix the boathouse door. By...

'The property was as advertised. We had no desire to be downtown so the quiet, remote location was perfect despite some ambient road noise in the mornings and late afternoons. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked for home-cooked meals. Hot tub was nice in the evenings. A BBQ on site would have been nice but we brought our own from Portland; this option would likely not be available to those traveling from further locales. 'We had a nice weekend stay in Lil red. A cute, quaint cottage on the lake. It was clean and walking distance to the lake, docks, lady of the lake, and kids play area. Very nice.'

'The cottage was perfect for us and our two dogs. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Loved sitting on the porch, even with the rain, wrapped in a blanket and a cup of coffee, it was heaven since I live in the desert. I would definitely recommend this rental to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful 4 days.'

'My family of 4 stayed here with my brother, his wife and my dad. We absolutely loved it, it's lovely, spacious and had a beautiful view of a valley and farm land. The open plan kitchen and living room open into a large porch, and we were able to invite several more relatives over for bagels our last day here. It was so peaceful, and I loved that the TV was in a separate room from the main living area. The only inconvenience was that it was a 15 minute drive to the nearest grocery store or cafe....
