This is a nice hotel in a convenient location, not too far from Logan, and near the aquarium and historical sites. I came in on a flight late and didn't get to the hotel until 10:30pm. I had booked a Queen with City View and when I was given keys, it was for the ground floor - I was a little concerned. The room was 107 at the front of the hotel, looking out on the street and behind the bar with loud music. Basically, the last, and worst, room in the house. Luckily, the night manager was understanding and was willing to help and offered me the only other room available - the living room portion of a suite. It was on the 8th floor with a nice view (I could keep the curtains open for a view). The bed was a Murphy bed and the room wasn’t as cozy as the first one, but it did have a fireplace feature that was very nice. The Blue line was immediately outside the door and was very convenient for getting around town and to North Station. I liked this hotel but the price of almost $300 and to end up in a ground floor room on the street was not a city view space. They assign rooms as you arrive, so if you are a West Coast visitor, I would think twice since a late arrival will not guarantee the room you booked. The staff was incredibly nice an accommodating - they earned their 5 stars:-)
