Gladys, I am very sorry that you feel your stay was not up to your expectations. As soon as you told us about your first night with the unusually loud guests talking late at night, we offered you two different room upgrades to move to (which you kindly accepted). It is very rare that we have late night disturbances but we certainly did our best to amend the situation for you as soon as we found out so you could sleep soundly moving forward. As for breakfast - we offer a large variety of options and my only wish was that you had taken advantage of more of our offerings. The first morning you only ordered the oatmeal and the second morning the yogurt and granola (thank you for the kind comment on our homemade granola). Every morning we offer a homemade hot dish, homemade sweet breads, fresh fruit, toast, English muffins, a variety of cereals, etc. And you are correct that our current method of serving breakfast was a change made (from our buffet years ago) due to COVID. Regardless of staff currently wearing masks or not, we have found that most of our guests prefer breakfast to be served this way for overall preference and COVID concerns.
