'What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!'

'Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes...

'My husband and I had the most amazing week here! Went fishing every day. Caught loads of fish around the lake. Even caught several off the dock, including a keeper walleye, perch, bass and northern! Sat and watched the northern lights from the dock one night. Grilled some steaks, went kayaking, saw lots of eagles and loons. Had a few campfires and enjoyed a cozy night by the fireplace. Jeff was great at accomodating anything we needed. He was quick to respond to emails. He was very respectful...

'If you're looking for a glamping type experience, this is a great place to stay! We found the cabin to be very clean and comfortable. The location is great, it's only a few minutes into Grand Marais, and it's very convenient for the boundary waters. The host is friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend.'

'Beautiful, cozy, well appointed cabin in the North Woods with a scenic river! Great location for hiking (we did 4 hikes all within 1 hour drive), and close to Ely for shops and treats. Beds were very comfortable, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, pellet stove for warmth, strong wifi, and dog friendly which we so appreciate! Tera is an A host with excellent communication and attention to detail. Thanks for sharing your home, we hope to return next Fall!'

'The camper was nice and comfortable. The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. Owner was very accommodating for making sure we had everything we needed and supplied multiple containers of gas and even ice in his own coolers, so we didn't have to...
