Mooie Lakefront Home met prive-strand

Rustiek huis aan het meer, ideaal gelegen voor het verkennen van het historische New England. Het huis ligt aan het einde van een privéweg op een bebost terrein van 1 hectare. Het huis ligt op een schiereiland en wordt aan drie kanten omringd door water. De meeste kamers bieden uitzicht op het water. Er is een zandstrand dat een dock bevat. De geleidelijke helling van het strand is ideaal voor jonge kinderen. Het huis slaapt 8 in slaapkamers en heeft een queensize slaapbank in de woonkamer. Er is een gemakkelijke toegang tot Boston met de auto of het openbaar vervoer. Het huis beschikt over een ruime grote kamer met gashaard, een grote eetkamer en een volledig uitgeruste, gastronomische keuken.

Zomer en herfst zijn uitstekende tijden van het jaar om te genieten van zwemmen in het meer of te ontspannen en te genieten van de weerspiegeling van het herfstgebladerte in de vijver. In de winter is er een gemakkelijke toegang tot paden voor langlaufen. Alpineskiën en snowboarden is mogelijk bij het skigebied Wachusett Mountain, dat op een schilderachtige 30 minuten rijden ligt. New England Sport Center is een korte rit naar beneden 290. Het huis is ook gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van de vele hogescholen en medische voorzieningen in het gebied van Worcester.

So much potential...

The house is very spacious, so there was more than enough space for our group.. The location was great in terms of the private beach. It's just that the beach and dock were covered in goose poop and some feathers. The outside of the house look like it needs some cleaning to remove yard debris and mildew. Additionally the only AC in my bedroom didn't, was just a fan. It was just disappointing. This location has so much potential. It just needs some attention for it to be an ideal vacation spot.

Beautiful home and property. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Had all the conveniences of home. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. Sitting down by the lake was so peaceful! We have adult children - using the firepit and sitting around talking was my favorite part. Would 100% recommend this home.

Boston Marathon Stay

Beautiful house and grounds! Very private with lots of room along with homey touches. Kids loved the toy cabinet and the pool table. Easy access to Boston. We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter weekend there!

Lake House

Quiet location very private end of the road on a peninsula with a lake on three sides. Would probably be a great summer destination.Carpeting is outdated as is the bed linens. We had the rewash a couple of our bed linens because there was hair in the bed. Old stained pillows. One set was a bit worn, and I had to borrow a queen size set for my daughter who lives locally.Towels are new, but undersized definitely not plush. Hand towels were included, but there were no bath wash towels so we used kitchen wash towels for the showers.If it seems I’m being critical that’s because this could be a five star property instead of the three that I would give it. Update the carpeting, bed linens, and bath linens. The location is great for a quiet family getaway. Half hour or less to Wachusett’s ski run;-)

Great location. Nice house. Some small suggestions.

Overall, this was a beautiful location. Quiet and secluded get close to Worcester. Nice layout. Only suggestions regardongwhat we would have liked different is to have soap and shampoo available. Also, the sheets seem very old. But we would not hesitate to stay here again.

GFM Fall Get together

We celebrated our annual Fall get together with 8 50yr old woman. The property is huge! The lake was beautiful and weather amazing. We made a foot bath area at the lake and planted succulents. The fire pits are large and plenty of room for everyone to gather either down by the water or next to the house. Parking was great with plenty of spots around the home. Besides the slight musty odor in the finished basement, the home was lovely! I would recommend bringing toiletries and condiments if you need them, otherwise plenty of towels and a huge kitchen that was great for gathering and eating. A few spiders in the corners but you’re really at the end of a road in the woods surrounded by water, so critters are to be expected. The sunsets and sunrise were spectacular! Coffee by the water in the morning, cocktail at night. Host was generous to give us an early check in so we got the most out of our stay! Highly recommend this property for the lake, home and space you get for the price!

This property is amazing and the host is awesome! The house is so clean. The grounds outside are spread out amongst 2 fire pits and a beach area with a dock. It is very private. Any questions we had for the host, she answered right away and took care of. I would highly recommend this property. We hope to go back next year.

Lake House

We had a little delay at check in due to the previous renters, but everything went well after that. Coffee maker died and was replaced the next day. The house offers tons of space inside and out. The fishing in the "pond" was great. Very quiet and peaceful area. I'd recommend adding an outside light under the deck at the lower level entrance. The other thing would be to cut back the vegetation that covers the house number so you know what driveway to take.

great getaway o the lake

Charming home on the lake. Very close to the city. Really great kitchen equipped with everything you could need. We really enjoyed the property, the fire pits and the lake. We rented this place specifically because of the beach and the lake for our dog to be able to go swimming. It was perfect for that. Our only complaint was that the beds weren't very comfortable but that's what you usually get in a rental property anyway. Overall a great experience.

The property was wonderful, the pond that it is located on was very weedy. Fine for fishing but swimming was not really an option (this of course has nothing to do with the owner). My daughters and their partners did not like their mattresses (the master mattress was fine). Overall I thought the place was pretty clean but my wife has different standards than I do and she vacuumed and the vacuum gave off a smell that smelled like used gym socks. The vaulted ceilings had many spider webs that the cleaners must have missed. Overall the best part was the location, when on the property it felt like we were in the wilderness but it is only 10 minutes from any store or restaurant that we wanted to go to. The fishing was great and the fire pit off the kitchen was our favorite evening location.
