Want to take a family vacation that lets you enjoy our beautiful city without busting your budget? Look no further! Our newly remodeled and redecorated home is the perfect location for you. The Mermaid Life boasts old Florida charm, with its original wood floors and retro kitchen cabinets, while welcoming you with its fun and vibrant coastal décor. You will enjoy your own private entrance and parking space right in front of the house. Out back is our shared area where you can grill up some food on our charcoal grill, and eat your meal at the covered table or sit out and enjoy the sounds of nature on one of our cozy loungers. Wanna get out and explore – no problem. You are within walking distance to local restaurants, shops, entertainment, and/or the AMI Ferry which allows you to get to the beach while escaping the hassle of traffic. Once you’re done exploring come home, relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep in one of our comfy beds. We look forward to showing you some good old fashioned southern hospitality.

The Mermaid Life is for your exclusive enjoyment. Private entrance and space. The large backyard deck is a shared area with 2 other cottages on this large property. Laundry area is available for stays longer then 5 days upon request. You are responsible for your own laundry supplies.

We live just a few houses away and are available for any questions or problems. Functional smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kit in home. Hospitals are minutes away if needed.

Please keep the House clean and tidy, and more important enjoy yourself and the beauty of the surrounding area! You are responsible for the safety of yourself and guests. I take pride in preparing our home for each guest and in doing so, I take inventory of the household contents. If anything happens to be broken, missing, or if extra cleaning is needed after your stay, please understand that additional charges may incur. Please no smoking in the unit as there is a covered smoking area outside.

Never more than 4 people total are to spend the night! For your safety and that of the owner’s property please let me know if you will have visitors.
Also note we do have cameras covering the front of the house. This house is in a very safe neighborhood.

This is a historic property and we expect guests to treat it with the utmost care at all times. Damages will be assessed.
