The Old Dairy is een nieuw verbouwde voormalige Dairy gelegen op het erf van onze 500 jaar oude boerderij in het prachtige dorp South Wraxall, aan de zuidelijke rand van de Cotswolds. We zijn slechts vijf mijl verwijderd van de UNESCO-werelderfgoedstad Bath en 3,2 km van de prachtige Saksische stad Bradford-on-Avon. Gelegen in het hart van het platteland van Wiltshire, biedt de Old Dairy rust en kalmte in een typisch Engels dorp.

Versierd met een stijlvolle mix van vintage en eigentijdse meubels, comfortabele pocketveringmatrassen, luxe katoenen beddengoed en zachte handdoeken. The Old Dairy heeft alles wat u nodig heeft voor een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf.

Het dorp South Wraxall is een charmant Engels plattelandsdorpje met een mooie 14-eeuwse kerk, stenen huizen in cotswold en geweldige wandelingen door het platteland. We hebben een fantastische bekroonde lokale pub, The Longs Arms, beoordeeld in de top 50 Gastropubs 2017. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving van wandelen, fietsen, golfen of paardrijden of gewoon ontspannen en genieten van de rust en stilte van het landelijke leven.

A fantasy come true. Just fantastic

It was wonderfull. The house is very luxureous and every single detail is perfect. Even our dog was in heaven, because he had his own drinking and dining bowl, a ball, ... The beds are amazing, the master bathroom even has a TV. The wifi works perfectly and there are great dvd's and Netflix if you want. We spent all of our time exploring the area.we visited Bath, Stonehenge, the area were they filmed the BBC serie Midsumer murders, Bradford on Avon, Stratford upon Avon, ... And the surrounding fields of South Wraxell itself. It is so beautifull, Dinah and Mark are very friendly and lovely people. There was a basket with cereales , bread, eggs , milk and butter when we arrived and you can find a map of all kinds of things to do in the neighbourhood , The nearest shops, ... We spend a lovely week over there with our 2 daughters (16+14 years). They enjoyed the vacation on a similar way. The sun was shining and it was very hot, so we were able to eat outside, even our breakfast. We hope to come back so we can see more of the area while knowing you can stay in a amazing place. We have styed at this delightful cottage on two separate occasions. Both times have been excellent. Egyptian cotton in every room, a tv in every room, ( including the bathroom!) Loads to justify excellent review.

A very relaxing place to unwind

The property was outstanding, the pictures don't do it justice. My wife loved the over large tub and the fireplace (which was set to light on arrival). There were snacks and eggs (which my sons loved), this place was like coming home. We liked being away from the city and using it as a base for stonehenge/bath/wells, etc... On leaving I wished I could have stayed longer. The hosts were very nice and welcoming as well, going out of their way to introduce themselves.

Lovely accommodation, great location and excellent hosts

Had a great week staying at the Old Dairy, excellent standard of accommodation, its very spacious and so so peaceful. Pet friendly and nice garden. Plenty of quiet walks on the roads/lanes and paths surrounding the property and great access with car to Bradford upon Avon, Bath and Bristol. Excellent communication from Dinah throughout. Great place to wind down

The property is situated in a peaceful location, with a secure enclosed garden for the dogs. There were plenty of places to walk without taking the car. The welcome pack on arrival included milk, eggs, bread, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and breakfast cereals - most welcome after a long journey. Dinah and Mark were very friendly and approachable and offered us a warm welcome - but this was unfortunately cut short by our two unruly dogs and our hungry and impatient baby grandson. The property was tastefully decorated, and the owners had thought of everything, including a TV in the en-suite! Definitely want to return to - if they'll have us back!

Sumptiously Comfortable!

Dinah and Mark have created a wonderful little retreat in the Old Diary. Everything is finished to top standards - the beds are so comfortable, water pressure & temperature is A1. There is even a TV in the bathroom!! We along with our dogs really enjoyed our stay & South Wraxall was a great location for exploring Somerset & Wiltshire with a lovely walk on the doorstep. Loved the home grown elegant tulips & eggs - especially the blue one! Thank you :)

2nd time, love this place

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in the old dairy and we again had a wonderful time. We love this place, the farm is so peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is lovely. What a fantastic stay!

No expense spared in furnishing this property and we love love love all the luxurious details. A surprise awaits you in the master bedroom bathroom. We won't spoil it here. But that was the highlight of our stay. The accommodation was brand new, sparkling clean, bright and comfortable. Dinah was super friendly and quick to respond. One of my favourite holidays ever!

The old dairy is one of the most comfortable, well equipped places we have ever stayed. It has everything you need and more - lots of little luxuries to make it extra special. The location is great for exploring Bath and Bradford but there are some lovely walks on the doorstep too. Would definitely return!
