Our 2nd summer stay

This was our second year in a row staying at the Lazy Lion and we loved it! The house has a great open layout and the patio is perfect to watch the sunset in the evenings. The sandy beach was also nice to have! Overall this is a great place to stay and so close to Brainerd!

Perfect setting for family vacation.

Our second time staying here and once again - we had a great week! Love the cabin layout, setting and decor - add the deck, the yard and sandy beach and it is everything we needed for adults and toddler granddaughter. Lots of fun and good memories made!

Summer 2024 Stay

We stayed here in 2021 and liked it. Came back this year because we wanted to be someplace we knew would be good. The hosts made several improvements to the property and it continues to be a great place to stay and enjoy the lake.

The place was very clean and sits close to the waters edge. The host was very helpful and responsive. There were a few things needing attention that the host addressed right away. The handle fell off one side of the oven - easy fix with tightening a screw. The hot tub was treated the day of so we weren’t able to use right away but it cleared up by the next morning. The coffee maker wasn’t working properly (gets plugged) so we ended up going in to town for coffee instead. Super spacious and lots of updates. The view from the deck is super peaceful and we recommend the property.

Perfect getaway

We just wanted a stress free girls weekend getaway and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place! Beautiful place on the lake that we could relax in the hot tub or deck. We will definitely be coming back when we get a chance. I would also recommend it for a family vacation. It has everything you could need!

Family cabin trip

What a fantastic lake cabin. We enjoyed the view and spent most of our time either on the deck looking at the lake, on the beach next to the lake, in the lake or on the lake. The cabin was comfortable, clean and well stocked too. We had a week to enjoy it all but we still didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait until our next stay!

Perfect family vacation setting

We loved our week at the Lazy Loon. Such a beautiful cabin and setting. The open kitchen area was perfect for our granddaughter to run around and play in. We enjoyed the comfy deck chairs and the sandy beach and walk in lake were perfect for our time on/near the water. The cabin was clean, well stocked and the beds were comfy. Liked it so much we are booked for next summer too!
