Great country walks to the Rock, Georgeham, Croyde and Putsborough. 2.5 Miles to the beach



Close to some of the UK’s best surf beaches. Croyde is a top surf spot with golden sands, Putsborough offers a secluded beach experience, Saunton Sands is great for families, and Woolacombe boasts three miles of pristine sand. These beaches are perfect for surfing, swimming, and sunbathing.



Just a short drive away, Braunton is a vibrant village known for its surf culture, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Explore historic landmarks, enjoy local delicacies, and experience the friendly community. Don't miss the Braunton Burrows, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve with the UK’s largest sand dune system.



North Devon features diverse landscapes and attractions. Explore Exmoor National Park, the South West Coast Path, and charming towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe. 1 hour from Exeter Airport, 1hr 45 from Bristol Airport. Car hire recommended — off-road parking and EV charging on site.



Summercott in Nethercott is the perfect base to explore Braunton and North Devon. Whether you seek relaxation or adventure, this beautiful region promises unforgettable experiences and stunning natural beauty.



Getting Around:

We have off-road parking for one car with an electric car charger. I would recommend using a car to get around but there is a bus stop approximately 1 mile from the barn



Other Things to Note:

We have a few policies in place to ensure all guests enjoy a relaxing, safe, and comfortable stay:

Check-in is from 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early arrival or late departure may be available on request, but is not guaranteed.

The lead guest must be 25 years or older. We reserve the right to request photo identification.

No parties or events – this is a peaceful countryside setting, and we ask all guests to respect that.

No smoking is permitted anywhere in the premises.

Dogs: We welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs (maximum of two). Dogs must be kept downstairs only and off all furniture.

No fake tan, please – it can cause permanent stains to our luxury bedding and towels. Any damage may incur a replacement or cleaning fee.

Lost keys: A £50 fee applies for lost keys to cover locksmith or replacement costs.

5th bed: Please request this in advance. An additional bed will be charged at £15 per night

EV Charging Available

We have an EV charger available on-site. Charging is offered at a flat rate of £15 per day.

Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring an electric vehicle so we can make sure the charger is available and accessible.
