'From the moment that we checked in, Mike and May the owners made us feel at home. They are such friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was up a flight of steps and Mike carried our cases up for us. Everything anyone could need was there. Spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed. A sitting out area overlooking their gardens. A very safe and secure area from which we walked just a short distance into the town. Highly recommended. '

'We had the best time at Kambati as a family we had a gorgeous view from our tent that was very clean it was our first time trying the glamping style and our experience was amazing! The kids enjoyed every minute we played thhe mini golf and the kids swam in the pools with slides and had ice cream cones at the pool the staff is so friendly and the cute animals too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thank you Kambati for your friendly hospitality '

'I recently spent three weeks at De Hoop with my fiance and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The cottage was small and simple, but contained everything that one requires as advertised. Perfect hot shower/water, with both indoor and outdoor braai. Great views of the mountains, lovely shaded porch, great trails to walk on the farm and dams to swim in.'

"Het hotel oogt van buiten erg mooi en straalt statigheid uit. Maar binnen is het ouderwets en erg gedateerd. De kamer was redelijk maar de badkamer was erg vies met schimmel, lekkende kranen en een doorlopende toilet. Het ontbijt was erg beperkt en zag er niet uitnodigend uit. Het is duidelijk geen 4sterren waard wel is het hard toe aan een renovatie en upgrade. Hotel ligt midden in een doods stadje waar weinig te beleven is. Kortom het is het geen aanrader om daar te verblijven "
