'The staff we came into contact with were really helpful and friendly. Eager to assist with any questions. For that we are very grateful. There is a lack of staff in the hotel area so you have to find them . 'Location was excellent. The cliff railway is unique. We’re were visiting the Kinver edge rock house National trust, it was only 9 miles away which was good. Nice pub restaurants close by. 'Brilliant stay. Came to the area to attend a wedding and host was extremely accommodating. Great breakfast in the morning with lots of choice and lovely full English. 'The White House was easy to find, with parking outside. Our hosts were lovely, genial and very welcoming. Our ensuite room was warm, comfortable and homely. The complimentary welcome tray was the best I've ever seen with lovely homemade cake (huge slices!) 2 small bottles of wine and 2 bottles of water. The beds were in the firm category which suited my husband more than me. Our room was at the back of the house and was very peaceful at night time and the village seemed quiet the next...

'Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day. Can highly recommend.'

'This is our 8th stay here. It's a lovely lodge in a peaceful, rural setting with a few other lodges surrounding it. It is really well equipped, comfortable an excellent find. We originally came for the steam railway that's nearby but our son lives close by so it's convenient for visiting. Jan and Paul are great hosts, nothing to much trouble and it's always spotless.'

'Verblijf van vier nachten hebben we er twee gehad met veel geluidsoverlast in het hotel zelf. Hebben niets het idee dat hier goed op gereageerd werd door personeel. ( idee is dat het Engelse waren) Bij vertrek werd ons niet gevraagd of we een aangenaam verblijf hadden gehad. Vonden we toch wat minder gastvrij. '

"De ligging van het hotel is perfect. Dicht in de buurt van het openbaar vervoer en de stad. Ook ge niet eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Hotel is wel een beetje gedateerd met oud interieur in de kamers, tapijt en bedden met minder goede matrassen. Kamers zijn wel schoon. "
