Perfect!
My husband and I and two friends spent 2 weeks in the apartment. Having stayed last year we were very keen to book again. Location is perfect, overlooking the sea fromt. The apartment is cleaned to a very high standard and has everything you'd need for a relaxed holiday. We can't compliment the accomodation high enough and will definitely be back again. Our host, Danielle is always contactable if needed and from past experience is attentive, friendly and very helpful when needed. We'd highly recommend the apartment and West Bay to anyone wanting a seaside holiday location.

Overall everything great. Two points to help keep so good: a) Boiler kept needing reset, so needs to be sorted; b) Balcony especially glass panels need cleaning to enable best appreciation of the views!

Perfect! Amazing views, central and well equipped. If you’re staying at West Bay this is definitely the best on offer! There’s even The Windy Corner cafe underneath the apartments which offers amazing breakfasts.

The only problem was the lack of hot water, the bath barely covers the bottom before water is cold. Also a few big cobwebs around. The furniture and beds are excellant quality and it is well equipped and very comfortable.

Stunning apartment in perfect location
The apartment was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could have possible need throughout our stay. We spent 2 weeks in West Bay, coming back again for the 8th time and this apartment was by far the best accommodation we've stayed in. The view from the balcony was stunning, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine and watching the water. Danielle was attentive and easy to get hold of when we had one small issue, which was rectified very easily and quickly. We'll definitely be looking to rent again for future holidays.

Everything from the parking space to the decor, fixtures and fittings, furniture, location etc were superb. The parking space is a great addition as parking is at a premium and makes the whole experience stress free. The beach is a stones throw from the apartment and the lift to the flat means you can get your luggage to and from the car easily. Highly recommend the flat which has breathtaking views from all angles. There is only one slight caveat and that is that there is a fair bit of noise in the morning from the harbour with reversing beeping and the like but really not a problem unless you are noise sensitive. Overall a lovely place and would definitely book again. 5 stars!!

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 days in this apartment and were very lucky with the weather which was a bonus. Location is ideal for exploring Dorset or just sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by. The apartment is very well equipped. Strongly recommend the George and Windy Corner Cafe - we had a brilliant breakfast at the latter. We will definitely visit again.

Didn't meet expectations
This was our third visit to West Bay Harbour Front apartments with friends but our first visit to this particular accommodation. What attracted us was the position on a higher floor with the potential for stunning views over the whole of the West Bay waterfront and beech plus the attractive images of the apartment and extensive facilities advertised. On arrival we noticed that the general cleanliness of the apartment was not up to a good standard. the Carpet in the lounge had noticeable stains, windows were so dirty that we had to clean them to enjoy the view, Glass wear needed cleaning ( one broken glass had been placed to the back of the cupboard and had been missed by the cleaners). The balcony was just wide enough to sit out but only two chairs were provided to which the salt air had rusted out the fittings and needed replacing. The bathroom basin tap was not working so we had to share the on suite. There was no dining table to sit and enjoy a meal, the four barstools provided in front of the breakfast bar were uncomfortable and very cramped. Sitting on the edge of the beds to get dressed was a hazardous affair as they skated away from underneath you, casters on a hard floor. (No excuse for the cleaners to have missed the dust under the beds). Seating in the lounge was two very large leather bed settees. We have never found a comfortable bed settee and these were no exception. Overall, in spite of the above we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment just for the enviable position and views.

An incredible position - surely the best vantage point in West Bay. Our ages ranged from 76 to 92 and we were able to make the best of this delightful long weekend. Excellent places to eat out (The George the best) and warm enough to swim in the sea - at the end of January. Thank you.

Beautiful property with fabulous views. We did however spend the whole stay without a working fridge on the hottest week of the year and a locksmith was required to open a bedroom window. Otherwise a great place to visit and stay.

Fabulous apartment in an unreal location!
We loved our stay here. The apartment exceeded expectations. It was fresh, clean and very well equipped with outstanding views of the sea and coastline. The secure car park was a great plus point. There were so many great places to eat within very close walking distance. Would definitely recommend the high speed rib boat trip from the harbour. We also visited Monkey World (about half an hour’s drive). We would highly recommend this apartment and would love to come back!

Best view in West Bay!
Perfect location in West Bay with amazing views of the sea and the harbour. Really spacious apartment with 2 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (ideal for us as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers) and a very large living area. Literally 2 mins walk to everything - beach, fish and chips, ice cream parlour, harbour. We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the sunset and just watching the world go by. Even the 2 teenagers were impressed. Extra bonuses - allocated underground parking, very secure building with entry codes, dishwasher, washing machine and fully sky channels (movies, sports, etc). Lots to do in West bay - rib speed boat is great fun, crabbing in the harbour, stunning coastal walks, and a visit to Lyme Regis for Mackerel fishing (look up Harry's tours). We caught 6 fish and they cooked them up for us on the beach, perfect. Lovely meals in The Bridport Arms, Rise, Harbour Lights (best fish and chips), Jurassic Wood fired pizzas and a bakery on the corner of the harbour that did amazing pasties and bacon rolls. Can't wait to come back...

A super apartment in a great position to view the harbour and sea. It was extremely clean with everything you could wish for. Great to park the car safely and undercover. The only problem we had was the lack of hot water? and a instruction folder would have proved useful. Perfect to stroll out for a meal or a drive to Lyme Regis etc. Highly recommend, very comfortable stay.

The best apartment beachside view I have EVER had.
Let me start with the booking process, 5 star. We received instant communications ,updated within minutes and always responded to. Upon arrival to the apartment underground car park, where our allocated dedicated parking was directly next to the lift entrance. The access into the apartment was swift and easily completed. The apartment itself was clean and beautifully layed out with space in abundance. When we went into the open plan lounge /kitchen area, all I can say is WOW!! The.property has floor to ceiling windows across the lounge, and in each bedroom. The curtains are designed to open full to one side and this gives you the jewel in the crown of this place...... the view. A full unobscured view of the sea, beach, pier, harbour and right along the coast well past lyme regis, with the natural beauty of the rugged coastline. The wrap around balcony allows outside viewing that we spent long periods just people watching and enjoying the experience. An important point to note is the fact that as this is on the 2nd floor it is the premium height to see all without feeling looked in. When you lie on the sofa, as you cannot see the beach, it appears you are out at sea, as if on a cruise ship. Back to the apartment, all furniture and TV /Sky equipment is very high standard. The owners have supplied every conceivable piece of home related items that you would require and have not cut any corners in purchasing quality, both in equipment to consumables. The bedroom, also has full heighth glass windows which allows full view of the harbour. Please be warned, if you have previously stayed in what was described as luxury with a view, then this property will become the benchmark. This is, without doubt, the nicest apartment with a view that my descriptions do not give it justice.
