'Clean and beautiful place'

'A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away.'

'Main issues were a) the "bistro" and bar area looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Most of the dining tables had been replaced by a pool table and dart boards. Broken or unused furniture was piled up at the side of the room. After taking one look, we decided that eating here was not an option. Similar unwanted furniture etc was piled up on the stairs to the second floor. All in all, there is no way this could be described as a tidy place b) our room was immemdiately above the bar....

'Really welcoming staff. There was a few for the car park which did not seem fair. It’s an overnight stop with a comfortable bed. Some issues with water pressure, taps going on and off.'

'Thank you for an Absolutely a fantastic stay, the room is a good size with every amenity and extra luxury touches, you want for nothing. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked well and fresh and plenty. The bed is huge and soft. And the hosts themselves couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome Would definitely stay again'
