Modern skihuis aan de voet van het skiresort Brighton. Slechts twee minuten lopen van alle basisliften in het skiresort van Brighton. Deze ruime privéwoning met gewelfde plafonds op de begane grond heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de skigebieden Brighton en Solitude. Veel voorzieningen, waaronder een bubbelbad, gasgrill, satelliet-tv, wasmachine / droger, wifi en extra parkeergelegenheid. Sleeën, games en puzzels zijn beschikbaar voor gasten. Perfect voor gezinnen die gemakkelijke toegang tot de liften willen met privacy en ruimtelijkheid. Gratis WiFi en onsite wasmachine / droger.

Great Western wordt beheerd door The Cottonwood Lodging Company, een specialist in lokaal verhuur en verhuur van vakantiewoningen.  Uw vakantie is onze fulltime baan.  Wanneer u in een van onze vakantiewoningen verblijft, krijgt u meer dan zomaar een vakantiewoning. U krijgt een toegewijd, lokaal team waarop u 24/7 kunt rekenen.  We zijn hier om u te helpen tijdens uw hele verblijf - met attent personeel dat voor u en uw vakantiebehoeften zorgt.  Elk huis voldoet aan de hoogste normen van veiligheid, comfort en netheid, zodat u optimaal kunt genieten van uw vakantie.  Boek vol vertrouwen wetende dat toegewijd vastgoedbeheer betere vakanties betekent.

BELANGRIJKE OPENBARING: GEEN HONDEN TOEGELATEN.  Evenementen, bruiloften, grote bijeenkomsten of het herbergen van meer dan het aangegeven aantal personen voor wie een gereserveerde woning is geadverteerd om te slapen, is niet toegestaan bij ELK eigendom dat door de Cottonwood Lodging Company (CLC) wordt beheerd. Vanwege beperkende verordeningen en de wensen van CLC-eigenaren om de vrede en rust van buren en onze gemeenschap te behouden, zijn deze "evenementen" nooit toegestaan, omdat ze storend kunnen zijn en extra slijtage op het terrein en op het terrein veroorzaken. Family ski vacation

Our family of five had a wonderful four night stay at Brighton. The loft area was perfect for our 9 and 13 year old (ladder access). The massage chair was a favorite. The proximity to the Great Western lift was easy, even for the kids. The property manager team was very communicative every step along the way. We had a great time.

Ski Paradise

Terrific stay, from the pre-stay communication to check out. The location was absolutely amazing. You can ski all the way down to literally across the street. Easy access to bother Solitude and Brighton which we skied both of over three days. Kitchen was super well stocked, hot tub was perfect. In general everything was about as nice as we’ve experienced at a VRBO.

What we wanted

This was the perfect location for our family ski trip to Brighton. It was so close to the resort that we walked to and from everyday, we even went back for lunch! The place was the perfect size for our family of 5. The kids loved the hidden loft area to sleep in (2 mattresses on the floor with a hidden ladder to get there). The entryway was perfect to come in and dump all your gear. The couch was plenty big and the kitchen had everything you needed. If we go back to Brighton we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cabin close to lifts

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was spotless and the management is very responsive. We didn’t use the hot tub since it snowed so much while we were there and would have taken a lot of shoveling before we could get to it. The two beds up in the loft area are actually just mattresses. It worked for our 20 something year old kids. An outlet would be nice up there for charging a phone or tablet. Everyone loved the massage chair!

The managers were very quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Be aware that all walkable food sources are closed early on Sundays, but otherwise we had a great time and the location could not have been more convenient for our ski trip. Clean and cozy house. Since check in is 4pm and there is nowhere to park at Brighton or Solitude and nowhere really to go to wait, be aware of getting there too early. The management was kind enough to let us park at the house early so it wasn't a big problem but worth noting.

Kitchen has everything reasonable to expect. The massage chair is a high-end one that’s perfect after a long day or when you wake up a little tight. House was clean and well cared for. Somethings to note. The upstairs loft is not adult accessible which has 2 mattresses laying on the ground. Kids 5-15, perfect. The text message service they use is bad. They told me several times they didn’t receive a message I sent. They don’t always follow up like the say. Lastly, they did offer and snow removal for driveway or deck during our stay. Snowed everyday during our visit and driveway just piled up. Walking across driveway was challenging. Unloading and loading car from driveway was not fun. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: Cannot beat the location and the management company is incredibly responsive and makes sure you have everything you need without being overly intrusive. The house was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked and perfect for cooking for groups, and the views and hottub are top notch, along with the added bonus of a massage chair that was very popular after ski days! There were only two drawbacks that keep it from being a five star - first, and most importantly is the loft. It really is only useable for teenagers. The way up is a true, vertical ladder (but with narrower bars than an average ladder). If you need to use the bathroom at night or have a sip of alcohol, I wouldn't go up there and even without that it literally hurts your feet to climb up with the bars. Less importantly, but a minor nit. We got all our groceries and drove out and put some brauts on the grill. They have a really nice trager wood pellet grill...but it ran out of pellets and there were no spares in the house! The management company was responsive and had more dropped off the next day, but we had to finish the brauts on the stove which was a little bit of a bummer. Overall a great option that we would do again, but some drawbacks that made it a 4 star overall.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Great Western house had everything our party of 4 adults needed - plenty of room, a hot tub, easy parking, great views. But perhaps its best asset was the proximity to Brighton Ski Resort. It may in fact be the closest residence to the lifts, especially Great Western Express. We could practically ski home for lunch. We could also easily walk to the Solitude Nordic Center. Communication with the property manager was excellent - they provided ample information in advance, had a thorough guest book with more details, checked in on us while we were there, responded quickly to questions and requests, and even brought us some mustard! We liked how guests were requested to remove shoes before entering the living areas, which helped to keep the place very clean. The hot tub was a bit small (barely comfortable for 2 although we all sat in it together) but it had a spectacular view of the slopes at Brighton. As with many vacation homes, the kitchen knives were a bit dull, and one pot wasn't clean, and some plates and bowls still had some residue stuck on after presumably going through the dishwasher. But those were very minor concerns compared with the overall favorable experience. We would definitely rent this place again if returning to Brighton or Solitude during ski season.

The location was perfect for easy access to Brighton. The house is beautiful, roomy and comfortable. The loft is accessible via a small ladder. The town is tiny with very few establishments and closes early so bring everything you need with you before you enter the Canyon ( and everything is cashless!)

When skiing Solitude, the bus is a VERY short walk to the pickup spot. The hot tub was broken for the first 2 days of our stay, but the owner quickly replaced the hot tub with a different one so we’re still able to enjoy a couple days of it. The massage chair in the living room is top notch and was incredible after skiing all day. Highly recommend this place!

The availability of free parking for two is a nice perk and the 3 person hot tub was a nice plus after a day of skiing. The place was clean, well stocked and comfortable. There were only two downsides during our stay...you can smell food being cooked from the adjacent apartment at night and street noise can be loud for the front bedroom. A small white noise machine that we brought with us was helpful! Overall we had a wonderful stay!
