Nice hotel with some minor issues
The room wasn't the cleanest, we almost got transferred to a bunk bed room, there was a lot of noise and the spa was very crowded. However, a great location, and in the morning the spa was superb. Quite happy with our stay!

Booked this hotel for 2 nights for a meeting, mainly because of the reviews saying they had quiet rooms and for the swimming pool. The swimming pool is very beautiful & pleasant, and the room I was given indeed silent with a comfy bed. However, in the initial room the windows didn't close and it was freezing cold. The room was also very small (strange for me saying, because I'm small myself, and like small places, but this was VERY small). I was given a new room because of the window, and was glad it was slightly bigger. Also with a bunk bed, but more space between the wall and the bed. I can't image 2 or 3 people in here, which the room should take?! On first glance, the room was clean but walking around on bear feet, I could feel the carpet was not clean at all (crumbs, hear,...)! The next day, I asked to give the carpet a good hoover (because I have asthma), so they did, but I was completely surprised the rest of the room wasn't cleaned at all (even some mud in the bathroom), unless you explicitly ask for it. Also the rest of the hotel didn't really give a very clean impression. Breakfast is just OK, nothing wow.

The spa was the best. The area was quite lively both day and night time, with lots of activities options. Only downfall was, had to park car away from the hotel and was quite expensive. But loved the stay in Harbour hotel.

We had a lovely stay and we stay at the hotel a lot . The only negative being the room we stayed in was quite cold and the bed was a mattress on the floor - looked good but not really what we were thinking. I wouldn’t want to stay in that room again.

Disappointed
The hotel was ok, the bed was really comfy. However, if you go there to have a break then really re-consider. The noise level is something else. You hear other people in their rooms, loud music and road traffic until 2-3 am.

On the whole, this is a good hotel with good staff. However, there was no hotel information sheet in the room as per other hotels which I like to refer to. Additionally, there were no cups in the room to facilitate the use of the coffee machine. Beware, if you have breakfast, they do not provide butter. When I asked for butter I was told it was by the toaster but when I showed them the flora margarine they confirmed that that was the only butter that they had. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and with the exception of the above personal preferences, everything else was good. I would stay here again.

A great option for Brighton!
Great hotel in a prime location! Easy access to the Lanes, the beach, pier etc and a short walk from the other beach attractions. Lovely little Spa (although we didn't use it this time) and the staff are all lovely. The restaurant does a mean fish & chips, too!

Not worth the money
We paid for a superior king size sea view room. As a superior room we were expecting a lot bigger. BIG bed but not alot else. We wish we had just booked a premier inn. Not a good value for money at all.

Room was far too small for 2 people. Real lack of space in both bedroom and bathroom. The bed itself was uncomfortable with an extra thick duvet which isn’t what is required in the middle of a heatwave. We woke up to maggots on the floor of our room. Windows didnt function properly so there was a real lack of fresh air, the mini fan provided isn’t sufficient to keep an entire room cool. Overall I’ve paid for a hotel room that failed to provide the basic requirements of a hotel booking. Rarely make comments on these but this must be the worst experience I’ve had.

- Arrived at the hotel and ordered to pay another £20 (for both of us) to pay for the spa. - Arrived at our room to find it (whilst tidy) dirty, noisy and in some areas disgusting. After complaining, we were transfered to an identical room which was just as bad. - Asked to make a complaint, the manager couldnt be bothered to hear it and just asked me to write it in an email to him. - If I could go back in time, I would have gone to a differnt hotel as this one is totally overpriced and an incredibly poor standard.

The stay was great, sea facing room which was great, the noise at the night from the beach front bars was noisy but okay. The bar drinks are expensive though.

Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Personal zuvorkommend. Nur das Zimmer war sehr klein und die Matratze viel zu weich. Der Ausblick in den Hinterhof war schrecklich, aber wenigstens ruhiger als auf der Strassenseite.
