The Cosy Cabin ... BESTE DEAL IN BRIGHTON!

Deze ongelooflijke blokhut ligt verscholen tussen de enorme pijnbomen van Brighton, Utah. Het wordt omringd door de prachtige Wasatch-bergen, die skiën en snowboarden in de winter buitengewoon geweldig maken. Skigebied Brighton ligt op 10 minuten loopafstand en Skigebied Solitude ligt op slechts 5 minuten rijden. De sneeuw hier boven is de grootste sneeuw op aarde! Het Nordic Centre ligt op 5 minuten lopen en biedt met sneeuw bedekte paden voor langlaufen of sneeuwschoenen in de winter of wandelen in de zomer. Silver Lake ligt hier in het Noordse centrum en biedt geweldige wandelpaden en geweldige vismogelijkheden. Forel in overvloed in dit prachtige bergmeer. De cabine zelf is afgelegen en van de hoofdweg af. Het is een totale onderbuik en verbouwing zonder kosten te besparen. Alles is nieuw van binnen en van buiten met uitzondering van de open haard met twee verdiepingen en de volledige houten wanden. Deze prachtige hut is vol charme. Er is niets gezelliger dan voor de open haard zitten op een ijzige winterdag.


Elanden en herten zijn een veel voorkomend gezicht, net buiten de hut en bij Silver Lake.

Great Stay for Spring Break!

Had a wonderful stay in the Cozy Cabin for "Spring Break" - we were lucky enough to get about 35 inches of snow that week. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well organized. The kitchen was well equipped with a good selection of pots/pans, accessories, and spices. Beds were all comfortable though the bunk bed room upstairs could use some shades (minor). Stairs going up to the second floor are rather steep and narrow, but it was fine for our group (might be an issue for older people with unsure footing). If you are renting in the colder months, I suggest bringing a pair of slippers as the stone on the first floor is rather cold. Fireplace is sublime! Jami is also a top-notch communicator - a very important aspect of renting. Fantastic trip! We'll book here again when we come back to Brighton.

Coziest of cabins

This is our 2nd year to stay at the cozy cabin. We absolutely love it! Jami is a top notch host & always available if/when needed. The cabin is super clean! The location is perfect and easy walking distance to skiing/hiking. We will be coming back!

Awesome location to ski Brighton and solitude!

Our family of 4 enjoyed a week of skiing in this cozy cabin within walking distance to Brighton ski resort and 5 min drive to solitude. If you want a peaceful and quiet locale for a trip to big cottonwood canyon this cabin is the best. We would definitely stay here again! The host was responsive and very helpful!

Loved our stay here! The cozy cabin was very cozy! Clean and well stocked with everything we needed! The walk to Brighton is a little further than we thought (maybe 13 min walk to the base) but we just drove over most days and it was fine! Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Incredible week!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cozy Cabin! The cabin is super cute and very well equipped with all that you need for a great stay. The location is fantastic as well! Meters away from Brighton and all that it offers, a few minutes from Solitude, less than 25-30 min from Park City, Eastern Salt Lake City, and Midway, there is no shortage of things to do and see. The communication with the owner was perfect and extremely helpful. We went off roading, white water rafting, mountain biking, rented UTVs, hiked, took in the Park City activities and managed to relax a bit as well. The location was perfect! We can’t wait to plan a winter trip to enjoy the 500”+ of annual snowfall!!!!

The cabin was like a fairytale and the scenery surrounding it was beautiful! We'll definitely be back. The only downside was we were looking for a hot tub when we booked this property. Unfortunately, that part didn't work out. However, we still enjoyed our 9 days there.

Awesome little cabin

The cozy cabin is very well situated and close enough to the Brighton lifts for walk/ski-in and ski home. It has a very well equipped kitchen and lots of comfy blankets for cozying up in the living room. The fireplace is a great bonus. We were a family group of 7 adults and although the cabin is small we never felt cramped. We hope to return next season!

Cozy cabin - the name is 100% correct!

We had a fabulous stay at the cozy cabin ... it was the perfect place to return after a day of hiking or skiing. We loved the large table for games and puzzles after a meal and our whole crew was delighted by the bedding! This truly was a cozy gem!

Cozy mountain getaway

We are repeat guests at the Cozy Cabin and we LOVE it every time! It is a great getaway in a beautiful mountain setting. We saw nature in abundance this visit, including a Mama Moose with 2 babies, bald eagle, beavers, rock chucks, a bull moose and surprisingly a mink!

The coziest cabin!

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was the perfect spot to ski/ride Brighton and Solitude. With the epic snowfall there were some challenges initially locating the cabin as the high snow walls made it hard to see from the road (it was hard to see the road!) Jami’s directions were so helpful. Cabin is fully stocked! It seems more like a home than a vacation rental. We made a fire every night with the provided wood. Beds were comfy and cozy. Yes, floors are cold so bring slippers if that’s an issue. We will definitely make a return visit for future Utah adventures!
