'The hotel and Bar which displaying signs of the Olde Worlde were nevertheless excellent for us. Clean premises, friendly and very helpful Staff and reasonably priced. We also like the surrounding area of cobbled street and since the premises was fronting on to the River Severn the view was just excellent. Siting outside the Pub alongside the River made for a very pleasant stay on a hot summers evening. Would like to stay there should we happen to be in the district again.'

'Really enjoyed my stay here. I normally stay in modern hotels so this was a change for me. The town is lovely with narrow streets and old buildings so took a while to find the car park to the rear but that’s on me. From check in to check out though everything was an absolute pleasure. The young lady on the desk checked me in promptly and actually showed me to my room instead of just passing a key and having to try and find it in this quaint old building. Room was nice, fitting for the building...

'We were welcomed by lovely staff giving an immediate good impression. Our room was small and a bit dark, but had everything we needed. Our dinner was amazing, beautifully presented and generous. Thanks to the weather we were able to sit in a beautiful garden looking onto the village green. Breakfast was brilliant. All the food is locally sourced and delicious. As to the cost, we were delighted at the value for money. Lovely pub with loads of character and lovely staff.'

'Great hotel with friendly service and good nice looking restaurant. I was comming in late so they made me a delicious sandwich to avoid going to bed without meal. I received a room with bathroom for disabled people. It would be good to have a squeegee there ;-). Nice parking space but maybe a slow loading station for electric cars would be a nice add-on. Breakfast starts a bit late if you target business people.'
