This property was quiet but not isolated with a beautiful river view. Every inch of the property was clean and tidy. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Definitely, would recommend.

Dog Lovers Welcomed
We arrived early and were able to park mid morning, you must leave your car details with the manager on arrival. This is a great spot for local bus travel, just outside are the stops for the X39 bus which frequently runs between Bath and Bristol, around 30 minutes to each. The Hotel is pleasantly situated on the Avon and the canal. We found the room cold with no heat from the large radiator and rather airless with lots of condensation on the windows. The food was acceptable but very basic. They love dogs there and the staff were friendly.

Not bad not good
Nice place , sadly the menu was limited , nothing healthy . Decided on chicken breast without the cheese bbq and bacon . It arrived within minutes of ordering. Clearly not freshly cooked , prob microwave . Was tasteless . Wifi was very intermittent in the bar and bedroom . Tv had no signal at all . Bed was ok and shower ok . Breakfast was nice and on time

Lovely property by the river. But the main bar area needs updating. No real lounge area to relax just tables and chairs. The layout of the room was very poor. Windows were not maintained. The radiator was not adjustable. The TV was on on an angled bracket so couldn't be viewed properly from the main bed. But lovely location.

Room was clean and pretty. Well attended to. Restaurant and bar below was very nice. Easy access parking. Surrounding area was beautiful with the river and all of the boat and walking area. Very peaceful restful location.

A lovely stay by the river
WOW!!!! What a STUNNING location!!!! Right on the canal bank,waking up you look out of bedroom window & see a family of swans,ducks & even a herring standing dead still looking for his breakfast,delightful. A Lovley modern room,excellently decorated with a big bathroom with excellent shower. Even had a fridge with water in & even a pint of milk(how many hotels provide that) Breakfast Lovley but not enough for a growing lad that was my only disappointment but it’s a VERY MINOR fault. DEFINITELY be back as it’s just so LOVELY!!!!!!!! They serve evening meals & even a Carvery on Sunday but only up til around 4pm.

The staff were very friendly and stayed late to check us in as we were running late. The room was lovely and clean. The only downside was that we could hear people in the room above us and next door when they were leaving and be noisy. Would recommend the hotel as it included breakfast and catered for gluten intolerance and vegetarian.

What a fabulous place. The room/facilities/staff/food were fantastic. Nice touch having a bottle of milk in the fridge (many hotels don’t give you enough) Will definitely be returning. If I had one complaint it would be the cider was flat but overall a fantastic visit.

Great location to relax
Hotel and Bar staff all great, made a quick trip very pleasant. Next to the river, ideal just to unwind after a busy day.

very basic with the shared bathroom not ideal. walls are a bit thin as you can hear the conversation from adjoining rooms. It is reasonable value for the money but would not go back

Glad you food is good value for money, maybe next time you can book an en-suite. We have 5 en-suite rooms and two with a shared bathroom, if you were not happy using shared facilities why book it?

The Riverside Inn was very clean. Had lovely rooms with views of the Avon. The staff could not do enough for us and were very pleasant and attentive. Breakfasts were delicious!! The bar and restaurant were closed by 8.30pm which ensured quiet and peaceful nights. Not sure if this is standard policy or because of the present Covid situation. Would definitely return following our stay

Peaceful, comfortable stay.
Lovely stay at the Riverside Inn, peaceful with a great nights sleep. Tasty cooked breakfast in the morning with coffee and orange juice. Was given an option to have something delivered to our room if we wanted to leave earlier than when breakfast is served in the restaurant. Nice room with a view of the river, very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Riverside Inn was excellent. It was immaculate and as another review we saw - so Covid clean and secure! Staff were welcoming and so helpful - including giving us directions/satnav details to shops and advice about bus routes. Our breakfast was lovely and you could tell they had used local produce. We will definitely stay there again.
