Situated on a single private street, Wild River is just one of just four charming cabins, each offering views of the Lower Mountain Fork River.

As you step out onto the deck especially in the quiet morning, the gentle rustling of leaves, chirping bird sounds and soothing sounds of the flowing river create an idyllic backdrop for your stay.

However, the secret allure of the Lower Mountain Fork River has spread far and wide, particularly during the weekends of the vibrant summer season. Adventurous travelers arrive by boat, seeking the perfect spot to play in and around the waters. While this influx of boaters bring some boat noise to the scene, fear not. Your access to the river remains unimpeded, as the boats traverse the opposite side of the island. This ensures that you can continue to enjoy uninterrupted riverfront relaxation and activities.

Wild River is located about 15 minutes from downtown Broken Bow and just minutes from all kayak outfitters. Most of the drive is a paved road, but at the end is a 3-mile red dirt/rock road that's relatively flat and easy to navigate with any vehicle.

You can easily get around town via car/truck or SUV. All attractions in the area are within 30 minutes. Our location, however, is out of the main traffic pattern of Highway 259, making check-in/check-out traffic easier.

While AT&T provides the best cell phone reception in the area, most carriers offer decent coverage. Feel free to stay connected with friends and family through your mobile devices.

Please note that we don't have cable service. No worries, though! Bring your own login credentials for your favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+. This way, you can enjoy your preferred shows and movies during downtime. Your entertainment options are in your hands!

There is one outdoor security camera on the front of the cabin facing the driveway. It is not actively monitored while guests are staying.
