'It's the people (for me) that make a place. Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience. We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect. 'Lovely clean room. Well stocked tea and coffee tray. Lovely bottles of fresh water. Great facilities. One negative comment I found was that the lighting was a bit dark (I like to sew and struggled to see even right next to the lamp. All staff really friendly and helpful- especially Kelly! '

'We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. '

A lovely lady from concierge called me today to confirm my booking and ensure we had the details for the contactless check-in (access codes for the front door and key box) as we were due to arrive after she had left.
