'Lovely, well maintained and comfortable property in a quiet village giving us the full “country” experience. Relaxing in the hot tub on mornings and evenings with views of the valley was amazing. Good quality beds and bedding in all rooms made for a relaxing visit with everyone in the family enjoying a good nights sleep each night. Good pubs and food available in nearby villages within short (20 min) drives. Lots of interesting places to visit in local area. Would visit again in the future. '

'Check in great ...kitchen had everything you need . Beds are so comfy which makes your stay even better as nothing worse than a bad nights sleep.Over all we had the best weekend ...kids had a ball . All off their devises all weekend judt back to nature and family time . '

'The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.'

'From the fresh figs we picked to the glorious view, The Brow was a treat!The garden is huge and we loved our garden olympics evening making use of all the space. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is lots of space to socialise or chill out inside. '

'It had all the comforts of a home! Full kitchen, TV with plenty of channels to choose from; electric fireplace; very cozy. Quiet location, met friendly people at both local pubs. Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. '

'The Kingfisher Chalet was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Gaynor and Andrew were friendly and welcoming, giving information about the local area. Can definitely recommend The Hare for dinner/drinks, staff there were very friendly too. Plenty of bird life to enjoy, even if the kingfisher itself didn’t make an appearance for our stay. Would definitely consider staying again!'

'We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. 'Approachable family and dog friendly warm welcome. Clean shower and toilets. My first experience glamping in a pod in a loveley setting and great view of the hills. Very good value for money. '

'Very spacious, comfortable cosy cottage with all you need for a short or longer stay. Located in beautiful garden with nice terras behind the cottage for a breakfast or diner. Very quiet rural area, nice for walks across the countryside. MTB track closeby in Eastridge. Powis Castle and Shrewsbury are nice and interesting places to visit nearby.'
