Unexpected
This property is not secluded but very private. It's well laid out and well appointed. Everything you need is there. All you need is your food and drinks. A party of 10 could stay here and not feel like they were on top of each other. Multiple seating areas in side and out. Multiple sleeping options as well

Lovely cabin
This cabin is such a gem. It was spacious enough for my family of 8, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The views are beautiful! Communication with the host, Alexis, was great! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Was a cute house. Very clean. Comfy beds. Only complaints is there were a lot of nails in the driveway. Hopefully they get those cleaned up after the remodel before someone’s tire gets messed up.

Nice place!!
This was a perfect place for my family’s gathering. Great place!!! Clean and spacious. I liked the open space about the house. The outdoor area was nice too. We used the propane grill and it worked great for our needs. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with dishes and utensils. We didn’t get the enjoy the water.. just because we were not there long enough to do so. The only issue we had was google maps takes you to the wrong house. Getting directions from the host might be a better option. We would stay here again for sure.

Amazing Space
The pictures do not do the size of this home justice! The common areas of this place are perfect for a group. We were able to have a good sized group here without it feeling crowded. Alexis was an amazing host who was quick to respond to any questions we had. She offered an easy check-in and a space that felt so inviting. Highly recommend for your next stay!

Wonderful Lake Retreat!
My family definitely wanted to stay longer than we booked! This house has everything you need. Lots of space and beautiful views! The short walk to the water lead to days of playing and splashing in the lake. We would definitely book again!

everything was great, and the cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. One suggestion: Black out curtains, or blinds for the bedrooms. That is my only suggestion! Thank you for sharing your place!

Fit our needs but...
We enjoyed our stay but we had a few slight issues with the property in general. When we first arrived, the dishes we went to use were clearly dirty and so we felt all weekend that we couldn't trust the dishes to be clean. Secondly, we were there to attend a wedding and so we didn't have intentions of using the lake and water amenities but we did walk down to the shore and the paddle boat and kayaks don't look well maintained or easily able to put in the water. I would have been disappointed if we were coming to the property to come to the lake. Thirdly, on the night of the wedding we needed to use the air mattresses that are listed and both are not in working condition. One was completely unable to be used and the other was deflated a few hours into the night. A fourth issue was that a bedroom door and a bathroom door are difficult to open/close. As previously mentioned, we were in town for a wedding and we were subsequently busy and had many people in and out of the house. There was a snag with the wedding rehearsal dinner location and as the sister in law/brother of the groom we said we could host the dinner at the property. It has a large kitchen and seems to be set up for having parties... it was a Friday night at 9 when the rehearsal ended so we had folks showing up shortly after and most everyone was gone by 10 pm. According to the instructions quiet time on Friday evening is midnight. At 9:38 pm I received a text message that said "neighbors" had notified the property manager of a lot of people and noise. I didn't see the text message until the next day and actually never responded. I felt like we were being spied on either by neighbors or the ring security system or both. It was completely unacceptable in my opinion. It wasn't anywhere near quiet time hours for a Friday night. We weren't making that much noise and we maybe had 35 people at the house. We weren't serving alcohol and aren't "party" people. I and my husband made the booking and we were being responsible for the property. If any of the guests had been being disruptive or destructive we would have asked them to leave. I shouldn't be asked to provide details about using the property in the way it's advertised to be used. Perhaps I'm wrong about that protocol but I found it to be very odd and a bit disturbing. But otherwise we had nice time, the views are beautiful and we were able to enjoy time together as a family during a special event.

Hi Sarah! We do appreciate any feedback on our properties so we can make future stays more enjoyable for our guests. I just wanted to take some time and address your concerns. The kayaks and paddle boat are up in a secure location under the ramp at this time and do have to be put into the water in order for use, as of right now the Lake levels are low due to the drought we are in but still accessible. As far as the air mattresses, we were completely unaware that they were not working properly and we will get them replaced ASAP! We wish we would have been able to communicate this during your stay and could have delivered ones to you, however we did not receive any texts/phone calls/communication at any time during your stay from you or your husband in order for us to fix things. When you received your welcome information you were informed that any excess cars or visitors on the property do have to be disclosed. It was not approved for you to have 35+ people and numerous cars when the house sleeps 14. We do allow for excess guests but in moderation. The text you received was simply to remind you of quiet hours considering you had an abundance of visitors that were never discussed or approved for your stay - it was kind & simply a reminder since the elderly neighbors were calling of your noise. Lastly, our ring cameras are only to protect our property when the house is vacant. Please communicate your needs/concerns with hosts in the future!

We had an amazing time with the kiddos, everyone slept comfortably. We all fell in love with the shower in the back area 🙂. Nice,quiet get away. Definitely would like to rent again when l the lake is not low. Thank you for providing all the necessities and having such a clean home!
