To begin— the biggest issue for us was that the sink was leaking out of the back and onto the floor for the first day/evening/and next morning, and took 24 hours to be fixed after being reported only a couple hours after our check in— meaning we had to brush our teeth/wash our hands/wash our faces all in the bathtub. Essentially, when the tap was turned on, all of the water and liquids that went down the drain just came out the back and onto the floor. (I asked for a partial refund, even for a small amount, and was denied)
I booked the Superior Double room, which was way more antiquated than anticipated, and also looked completely different from the photos and was floor to ceiling covered in floral yellow wallpaper instead of the black/dark one that is shown in photos for the Superior room. There was no shower as well (only a bath) or kettle/coffee/tea in the room, unfortunately. The shutters also didn’t open more than shown in the photo, so there was no “city view,” as advertised.
The pool and outdoor area was the redeeming factor, as it was beautiful and super well maintained. Overall, quite disappointed since I expected more from a hotel quite far from the city centre also at this price.
