The only positive thing was the location. Part of the promised stuff was not there (no kitchen linnen e.g.) Even no mirror in the bathroon and no hot water for more then half of the stay of 4 days. Communication aboit that was really poor. The telephone which we could use was out of reach. Very smart?? No, one of the poorest stays we ever had!

Es una propiedad horrible no lo recomiendo se encuentra solo lugar feo en todos los aspectos no entre y no me pudieron regresar mi dinero pero preferí perder mi dinero que quedarme en ese horrible lugar no es lo que dicen son mentiras no caigan en esa gran estafa espero nunca la vuelvan a rentar por seguridad del huésped pedí ayuda ese día a expedia y no tuve ninguna solución que feo que expedia se ponga de su lado por dinero porque si hubiera habido un reembolso no hubiera tenido ganancia pero no todo es dinero deben pensar primero en la seguridad del ciudadano Fue horrible esta experiencia lugar súper solo y en la noche tuve que irme caminando con maletas a buscar un hotel seguro

Di per sé anche un bell’appartamento, luminoso e spazioso, se non fosse stato di uno sporco a dir poco imbarazzante, quasi da aver timore di toccare i mobili. La cucina era in condizioni indecenti con macchine diffuse su tutta la parete dei fornelli; le luci dell’anticamera e dell’ingresso non funzionanti; il divano (che, aperto, avrebbe dovuto essere il letto dei bambini) polveroso e malandato; le pareti piene di crepe e danni vari. A questo stato di sporcizia e trascuratezza vanno aggiunti due elementi che hanno reso il soggiorno ancora peggiore: mancava completamente una tenda oscurante di una finestra della zona notte (il che ha reso impossibile dormire nel buio, sia di notte visto che sotto l’appartamento ci sono diversi locali, sia la mattina presto poiché entrava un sacco di luce) e non ha mai funzionato l’acqua calda. Ho prontamente segnalato i guasti e le varie problematiche al servizio clienti (tramite chat perché è impossibile trovare un modo per parlare di persona con loro) anche perché hanno “preautorizzato” sulla mia carta di credito 150€ di deposito di cauzione, e dopo aver espresso il loro dispiacere mi hanno detto che si sarebbero attivati “il più presto possibile”. Sono partito dopo 3 giorni e probabilmente non era così breve il loro concetto di “ più presto possibile” (quando ho fatto presente che nessuno si era attivato per sistemare almeno la tenda, mi hanno risposto che avevano preso nota ma non erano ancora potuti intervenire…).

I Don't recommend this place
Place was nothing like the pictures. Place was in disrepair and not clean. Couldn't lock door from the outside. No shower, just an old stained tub with a hand sprayer. Kitchen wall was stained. Curtain missing from bedroom window. We got there and promptly left and demanded a refund. They did refund promptly at least.

Great place at a great price!
Generally this was a great stay. It is in a prefect location, a few minutes walk from the Grand Place. The flat is huge. I could see myself renting it for a week or more and working from the place. And the price was amazing - less than half the price of most hotels in the area. The place was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The furniture and decor were great. I only have two complaints. First, they gave me the wrong code for the door. I spent several minutes thinking I was doing it wrong, and i finally called them. It took a few tries to get through, but they were able to get me the correct code over the phone. It took me about 15 minutes longer than it should have to get in, but not a big deal in the end. Secondly, there are a few things in teh flat that need fixing. The hot water heater was not workig when I arrived. There was a note on it (in French) stating how to relight the pilot light. Google translate helped me figure this out, but I did struggle a bit to get it lit. After that it worked great. The toilet also had a slow leak that ran water much of the night. I finally turned off the water supply as the sound was annoying and was waking me up. Anyway, those things were minor and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable place with lots of space. Also - if you rent, check your spam folder for the email with details on how to check in!

This was the absolute WORST stay in my life. The property claims to have cribs and when I got there they claimed they can’t keep up with the requests so don’t offer that so my 4 month old had to sleep unsafely in my bed with me. On top of this, the door was broken when we got there, causing us to be locked into the apartment for hours. I called the property manager and after a few hours was able to get a hold of them only to be told they didn’t have anyone that could help until the next day. We wound up having to the call the police to get us out. It was completely unsafe and scary with a 4 month old especially. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

First off, our apartment was massive and amazingly priced for its size. The decorations were sparse but welcoming, there was tons of natural light, and the space provided was incredible. However, our apartment had some issues– namely, the stove was functional but finicky, the door to the toilet could not be opened from the inside (meaning you could literally trap yourself), and while the bathtub had a showerhead, there was no curtain so taking a shower often made a mess. The location was very central and located near shopping, a grocery store, and the Grand Place, but quite noisy as it was located near busy bars and restaurants. Overall, our stay was great, but our communication from Smartflats was never answered. Regardless, I would absolutely recommend this property for a stay in Brussels.

Die Unterhkunft liegt wunderbar zentral, die meisten Räume sind sehr hell, nur der Eingangsbereich und das Bad und die Toilette sind sehr dunkel. Die Wohnung ist leider etwas lieblos eingerichtet und die Wanddekoration (Farbe etc.) sieht schmutzig aus, so dass die Wände gerne mal gesäubert werden könnten. Es scheint als ob die Wohnung teilweise ungepflegt wäre, Es ist sehr wenig Einrichtungsmaterial da, so fehlt z.B. eine zweite Lampe am Bett oder eine an der zweiten Schlafmöglichkeit. Renovierungsarbeiten wurden nicht zu Ende ausgeführt. Schade, denn wir haben uns dort grundsätzlich wohl gefühlt, auch wenn es nachts durch die zentrale Lage (Szeneviertel) sehr laut war.

Nous sommes arrivés dans un appartement qui était très différent de celui en photo. La cuisine était dans un état navrant, les plaques de cuissons ne fonctionnaient pas. Dans la salle de bain le mur à côté de la baignoire était complètement décrépi. De plus la baignoire était bancale, et l’eau pas très chaude !!! L’endroit est hyper bruyant sur tout en soirée, du fait des bars qui sont en dessous.

This is the worst place we have ever being at. DO NOT STAY at this place. The only positive things that I have to say is the great location and the size of the place. Everything was an absolute disaster. The place that was given to us was NOT the place that we rented. It was willful misrepresentation and the management did not anything to help. They did not reply to the email and did not allow us to contact them by phone. The apartment was run down, with a depressing black color on the wall, stain carpet, ruined wooden floor, and absolutely no décor. The place was as empty and depressing as it could be. Apartment 101 has nails sticking from the floor, holes in the walls, and stained table. The management provided old, small, towels; there is no drawer in the place but a rack to hang your clothing, just like a department store. The ugly bathroom does not even have a hanger for your towels. We were in 3 and we were only provided towels for 2. Other important points: the restaurant downstairs will make your stay horrible: they put table everywhere in the front of the property so you will have to navigate to tables to get to the front door; they will put chairs in front of the staircase so you will have to move them to get out; they will put linen in front of the elevator, making it difficult to get out of it; THE STAFF SMOKES IN THE HALLWAY AND APARTMTENT 101 WILL SMELL LIKE AN ASHTRAY EVERY TIME YOU COME BACK TO IT. If you are not a smoker, you will be DISGUSTED.

O apartamento é bem central podendo conhecer a cidade quase toda a pé. O apartamento é espaçoso e tem tudo o que é preciso para uma boa estadia. Agora durante a última noite quase não dormimos pois um dos outros apartamentos tinha uma música altíssima que era impossível adormecer, já agora a zona à volta tem muitos bares o que pode ser mais um problema nos fins de semana.

Persimo apartamento y pésima atención al cliente
Sinceramente ha sido el peor apartamento en el que hemos estado alojados en nuestra vida. El estado del apartamento, aunque amplio era muy deficiente. Tenía algunas deficiencias importantes como la manguera de la bañera que no nos permitió ducharnos en condiciones en los 6 días de estancia, cada vez que intentabas utilizar la se cortaba el agua caliente. Por otro lado había persianas estropeadas, faltaban bombillas y el sofá cama estaba estropeado. Lo peor de todo fue el RUIDO. nos podemos dormir ni una sola noche antes de las 4:00. Y eso que nuestro apartamento estaba en la tercera planta, no me quiero imaginar cómo estarían los del primero y el segundo. Los apartamentos están justo enfrente de varios bares de copas y la gente está gritando y con música muy alta lo que hace imposible dormir. Finalmente el servicio de atención al cliente fue nulo. A pesar de escribir llamar para que nos solucionaran las averías y nos buscarán una solución al ruido ni siquiera contestaron. sinceramente estábamos esperando unos apartamentos bonitos y bien situados en el centro de Bruselas y nos encontramos con un apartamento en un edificio viejo y cochambroso con muebles que parecían sacados de un vertedero de basura y con un ruido que no nos dejó ni siquiera dormir en lo único decente que tenía el apartamento que era la cama.

The property was so spacious, clean, could smell the freshness on the bed covers and towels. The location was amazing! Walking distance to everything right in the heart of the city centre. Close to shops, bars, restaurants, 1 minute to Grand Place and Manneken Pis. Loved it. It was so modern and cool inside. The bed in the bedroom was the most Comfortable bed I’ve ever used. The only down side was the shower/bath was annoying as there was no curtain and it was a free standing bath so it did flood the floor when standing showering with the shower head. There is a lot of noise outside on Friday and Saturday nights from the bars downstairs however the windows keep out all the noise so with the windows shut you cannot hear it. Also the apartment is very warm so you don’t need thick pyjamas.

Spacious flat in an interesting area of Brussels
The apartment was spacious with full kitchen & bathroom , separate toilet , lounge and dining room , clean and tidy. Street noise can be an issue , but that is part of a convenient location in an interesting inner city area. Once you understand the entrance hall way and how the old style lift works , everything is easy.

The flat overall was dirty, the sheets were having some holes and dirt on it, found hairs on the pillow and the towel. The building is very old, the corridor you have to take is behind the restaurant's kitchen. Employees are smoking inside, it's not very clean nor reassuring. The apartment itself is big, very cosy and cute, a bit dark but that's the mood. However like I said previously the cleaning was bad, it really felt like someone else was here before us, but not for cleaning.. The situation is awesome, right in the centre, in front of the LGBT pubs and not far from the Bourse. There is many parking you can use, less than 600m away from the apartment for a reasonable price per 24 hours.

Very loud and slow wifi
Stayed 5 nights and 3 of them there was very loud music til 9-12pm which does not let you do anything as its really loud not to mention sleeping. Wifi was very slow too not modern in anyway. Apartment itself was fine but the noise and slow wifi would make me never to visit it again.

Close to most things and very spacious
The apartment was in a great location with only a short walk to many tourist sites, transport and bars/cafes/restaurants. The space was very large with seperate bedroom, toilet, ensure, kitchen and 2 living space. Somme of the layout was a bit funny with it was very functional with everything you'd need. Laundry facilities less than a block away. Extremely neat and tidy. I'd definitely look you stay here again.

Deja mucho que desear, lo único bueno la ubicación. El piso frio, y se nos fue el agua durante una noche entera, la cocina iba fatal. Lo más llamativo de todo fue que luego nos pidieron 130€ más por la limpieza.

Our Flat was Mannneken Pis 401. The location is great and the flat seems to be nice at the first sight. Unfortunately there are no pics of this particular flat online, only of others at the same house. Compared to No 401, they were cosier, with pictures on the wall, rugs, cushions + more lamps. The flat was very dark + NOT equipped as is was described on the website + in the E-Mails we received before our arrival: There were no oven and no microwave. There was a gas stove, which we couldn`t light (Smartflats organised a lighter). This is superbad, when you booked a flat with a "fully equipped kitchen", because you want to cook. The other issues: Key box didn`t work right 1 towel was missing bathrug had blue stains doorbell was broken water tap in the kitchen dripped In the shower the water pipes were changed: Cold water when you turned on the warm 2 days there was no warm water in the bathroom due to an broken boiler Summary: This is not a proper holiday apartment, but a construction site! To get help it was best to phone Smartflats or even better to go to the Lounge. E-Mails and Chats were answered late. We had to remind them to solve some problems. The scheduled technitian for the boiler did not come + we were NOT informed by the staff. Only when we went to the Lounge again, we were told that the problem is not fixable soon, and we changed the apartment. We had to contact Smartflats almost every day for various issues. That is NOT how we wanted our holiday!

In the heart of the city but we don't recommend
The horrible thing happened when we arrived at the hotel. We couldn't get the KEYS! The box with the keys inside could'nt be opened. We had to make a phone call to the staff. At first we were asked to go out and walk to the office and get new keys there. - We had luggage, we were tired, we've never visited the city before...It was not simple and easy to read the city map...What a big disappointment, we'll never forget this experience!...We made a phone call again.. there was another person now and she said she'll come to us with the keys. At last- The only lucky thing was that it happened in the middle of the day. - And then the rooms: Very, very dark, you could't see anything in the evening.The mirrors were tiny, pocket-size!
