trash bin was broken, AC was broken, the doorbell was broken, the dishwasher was broken, 1 curtain almost broke cause it was very loose. we had a power cut and called the service, they did not help. said they contacted the "technical team" there was never a technical team. the day after power was still out and the technical team did not come. no warm water, no lights, nothing. it looks fancy and all, but dont be fooled.

Good location, however the place we stayed was in a terrible condition, lift not working the whole time we were there, we had to lug 30kg bags up and down the stairwell which had no lights, and there was no toilet seat at all, the condition is worse than a third world country

Nous avons loué un appartement pour les vacances de Noël. Le sieges des toilettes était cassé, le four ne marcait pas. Je l'ai immédiatement signalé mais cela n'a pas été réparé. Nous avons eu d'autres problèmes dont l'ascenseur en panne pendant plusieurs jours. L'appartement est extrêmement bien situé, chaud mais pas aussi confortable que ce que nous attendions. L'equipe de smartflats est inexistante et les femmes de chambres ne parlent que roumain.

Immeuble sentant le renfermé et la cigarette. Des tapis taches de javel. Dans l’appartement du café senseo pour une machine. Nespresso, des canapés tellement sales qu’un drap de lit est posé dessus, Aucun produit pour la douche, Un ménage plus que limite. Des wc qui ont coulé toute la nuit. Très bien situé mais appartement mediocre

It was the perfect location for the Christmas markets! However it definitely needs more maintenance the toilet seat was broken and the blinds did not roll down. We also had a random man with a hood trying to access our room at 6am which was scary especially with three young girls inside! This made me feel unsafe.

there were multiple issues that they did not even attemp to fix broken toilet, no shower head, broken elevator, tv did not work etc rude when trying to talk to them and no solutions or compensation for anything smartflats is horrible

The good: spacious room in a great location with a beautiful view. The bad: Lounge for luggage drop off while we waited for check in did not exist. We drove there and nearby business said it closed down. Moldy shower, shower soap empty, cheap broken toilet seat, rusty broken trash can, stains on bedsheets, stains on couch, ELEVATOR BROKEN, stairwell had NO light to see, our "4th floor" from was actual 6 levels above the street. Dangerous and exhausting with our luggage. We expected more from this place...

For the price I paid (nearly $300/night), I expected much more. First, the good stuff: - Very nice location. That's why I booked it in the first place. - Very spacious. There's very little in the apartment but after being couped up in an Amsterdam hotel for 2 days, this was a great change. - Check-in was a breeze. We got a code and it was easy to use. Now the bad: - The apartment was obviously not cleaned well. There were bread crumbs on the dining table, crumbs on the carpet and stains on the sofa and **towels**! - Despite booking for 2 adults and 2 kids, we only got 2 sets of towels. I called them and they claimed I booked for 2 people. I have the expedia entry that says otherwise. Kids need towels too!! They told me they will call me back but they never did. - Hot water ran out only after a 5-min shower. We had to wait in turns until the water heated up to take showers. - Water pressure is uneven in many faucets. On some, water just trickles. - Summer season visitors, beware. There's no AC (see another review which points to the same problem). - I kid you not. About 1 hour after we checked in, a repair guy showed up and said he came to check on a few things. We had luggage lying around and everything. Should that not be done in between stays? He replaced a bulb, unclogged a bath drain and checked on the water heater. While I was grateful, it was a very odd experience. Overall, I would not recommend. It is places like this that make me want to stay in hotels

Apartment is just fine. However I needed an extra towel and was refused because they were fully booked. I really didn't like the communication with the company and I'd definitely not recommend this apartment. Towel did arrive, after two days of communication with staff.

Great Locaion, but in need of some Maintenance
The apartment is located right on the Grand Sablon within walking distance to lots of cafes. Close to Grand Place and Brussels Centraal Station. The beds were extremely conformable. But, the apartment is starting to look a little run down and is in need of some general maintenance.

Nice aprtment close to the city centre
Didn’t figure out how the heating worked. Kitchen well equiped. The apartment was nice but looked a little bit worse than on the pictures.

The apartment is located in perfect location. Not in the center but very close and also quiet. The apartment has everything we need and comfortable.

The property was in a great location, and the amenities were first-rate. Overall we enjoyed staying here and it was much better than staying in a hotel. There were, however, a couple of gripes; Firstly, the apartment is looking a bit ragged around the edges and could do with a good re-fresh. The table in the bedroom has seen better days and is stained on the surface, and one of the blinds in that room did not work. In the living room, one of the stools was broken and although it was still usable you ran the risk of cutting yourself if you picked it up to move it. On the Friday morning (having arrived the afternoon before) I phoned to say that 3 of the lights were not working and when we left on Monday they had still not been repaired.

Ottima soluzione per un viaggio di affari.
Posto stupendo, comodissimo a tutte le attrazioni della città. Camera pulita e dotata di tutti i comfrot. Unica pecca è non avere ricevuto i codici di accesso con il dovuto anticipo. Ho rischiato di rimanere fuori dall'appartamento se non fosse intervenuta l'efficace e professionale assistenza di Hotel.com.

Not clean on arrival, not prepared for hot weather
Arrived for check in at 3pm, and the apartment had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We dealt with less than friendly or compassionate staff on the phone (up to 10 phone calls with multiple hang-ups), and were made to wait >1hr for the cleaning staff to arrive and clean it. They emailed after and offered a late check-out as an apology (we had a 7am train so not much use to us). The apartment is completely inappropriate for a summer visit. There is no fan or air conditioning, and it is impossible to open the windows due to 1) The bright lights from the street, 2) the loud traffic and noise from the street, and 3) the abundance of mosquito's - we were been bitten alive. We did not sleep at all for the 2 nights we were there. When we emailed the customer service team to request a fan after our first night, they were dismissive and kindly thanked us for our understanding for Belgium's unseasonably warm weather. We wrote back explaining our disappointment and discomfort, again requesting a fan or mosquito coil, but we never heard back from them. A real shame as the apartment was lovely (once cleaned), and is in an excellent location.

Le design est très soigné. Magnifique.
Le design est très soigné. Magnifique. L'hôtel est bien situé. Le système, du fait qu'il n'y ait pas d'accueil peut paraître compliqué. En fait, il s'est avéré très simple. lits très confortables. Nous n'avons pas été dérangé par le bruit, ni des voisins, ni de la rue (nous avons quand même dormi les fenêtre fermées). Excellent choix!

Beautiful apartment, great location, VERY noisy
The location of this apartment is wonderful. A quick 7 minute walk takes you to the Grand Place. There are plenty of restaurants and things to see close by as well. Street parking is fairly cheap and usually available close by. The apartment itself is beautiful. Everything was very clean and beds were comfortable. Very spacious - much nicer than staying in a hotel room. The building itself is nice, although the elevator is somewhat outdated. It broke down several times with one of us in it and it took a few minutes to start up again. The biggest con was the noise! There was construction going on RIGHT by the master bedroom, starting before 8am every day! This made it impossible to sleep past 8am in the morning, which was quite frustrating after having been out and about all day the previous day. Would probably stay here again, but the noise would definitely make me think twice.
