'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'Great place to stay after a long day at Kings Dominion! Place was nice, clean, quiet! Front desk staff and housekeepers were all very nice and friendly!

'Like staying there but their business room was pretty broken. Wanted to use computer to run off a couple of things and it wouldn't start up. Had girl from the front desk to look at it. She got it started but said they had a power outage recently. Tried to use printer and didn't work at all. These items were important to us. We managed but made life more difficult.'

'We only stay over night between flights. We were extremely impressed by the staff. Every encounter was friendly, polite, helpful, and welcoming. Both shuttle drivers were beyond pleasant.
