Tranquil Creek - Romantic hideaway/waterfall/creek cabin

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Quaint/rustic/secluded log cabin in the woods alongside a bubbling creek. You can listen to the gushing waters right from the deck creating a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. Just a mile walk to your own private waterfall.
The space
The minute you pull into the driveway at Tranquil Creek you will view it's comfortable setting surrounded by trees and a rushing creek. As you step out of your car you will hear the sounds of the creek that stretches the entire length of the property boundary.

Upon entering the cabin you will immediately notice the fine natural cherry floors, pine wood construction and the sweet wood aroma that you would expect in a custom hand built mountain cabin. It is open, airy and spacious. It is truly a gem. With 2 Bedrooms and 2 baths, you will feel at home. One bedroom comes with an attached bath for privacy. The living room opens up to a well equipped kitchen where you can cook a sumptuous meal.

You can relax in the deck enjoying the view and sound of the creek. Listen to music, read a book, sip a cup of coffee in this beautiful setting.

Tranquil Creek Cabin is undoubtedly one of the most popular cabins available for guests who want to come and enjoy the wonders of the Great Smoky Mountains!

It's so peaceful you will forget all your worries and indulge in this peaceful oasis!!

Other things to note
Guests may hike a mile up above the cabin to a 100-foot waterfall! Gorgeous.

The last half mile to the cabin has narrow roads and you need to cross a shallow creek setting you up for an adventurous feel :). Please review pictures of the creek.

Pets allowed. Pet fees $50 per pet. Please review Pet policy in the Additional Rules section before booking.

4 wheel drive vehicle will be needed if there is snow during your stay as the last half mile to the cabin is on gravel road as you can see in the pictures.

The wifi signal is not the strongest in this mountainous setting. You can browse or connect to your work vpn if you need to work, but you cannot stream or watch a video online. Netflix and Amazon prime are unfortunately not an option.

There are 3 TVs, each connected to Dish Network. The TV in the living room comes with a DVD player.

As a reminder, there is no smoking allowed in the cabin.

Neighborhood:
It’s a gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with wildflowers, streams and part of the Appalachian Trail. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad offers train rides through the park, plus the Smoky Mountain Trains Museum. The Tuckasegee River is popular for white-water rafting. The Fly Fishing Museum of the Southern Appalachians has fishing gear and 1800s fly rods.

Checkout Instructions:
Keep yard clean of any debris i.e. bottles, cans, paper, trash etc.
Please do not rearrange furniture

Reminder that check out is 10:00 A.M on the departure day.
On your day of departure please clean all dirty dishes and return them to the cabinets as a courtesy to our next guests.
On your day of departure please help our cleaning staff by gathering the bed sheets and pillow cases and begin a load of wash in the washing machine.
Please do not overfill the machine.

Pet Policy
Creek Run welcomes you and your dog and hope you have a wonderful stay! We do charge a mandatory pet fee of $50/per pet.

Following are the house rules for pets while staying at Creek run Cabin
Guests are permitted one dog weighing 80 pounds or less unless Host agrees in advance.
The dog must be healthy and up to date (required every 3 years) on rabies and DHPP (vaccines for Distemper, Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Parainfluenza and Parvovirus).
The dog must be flea and tick free and current on prevention treatment.
Guests will always keep the dog on a leash outside the cabin.
Guests will not leave the dog unattended inside the cabin.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up any and all dog refuse, as well as cleaning dog before he/she comes indoors.
Please bag and dispose of waste
Guests will not let the dog relieve itself in the neighbors’ yards.
A dog bed is NOT provided. The dog is not allowed on the guest beds at any time. Evidence of any pet soiling/damage on bed or bedding will incur extra cleaning or replacement fees up to $ 200.00
Pets are not allowed on any furniture including but not limited to Beds, Sofa, Couches, etc. Evidence of pet hair on any furniture or bedding will incur additional charges for the guest, up to $ 200.00.
As responsible pet owners, Guests agree to accept full and complete responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the dog or suffered by any person during Guests’ stay at Creek Run.
Guests understand that Creek Run will charge accordingly for the repair of any damages, additional cleaning requirements, or flea treatment caused by dog’s presence or behavior.
