'The apartment was in brand new condition and was excellently laid out with separate kitchen/lounge and sleeping areas. The kitchen was well equipped and very functional. This would be a great place to stay for anyone who wanted to visit Edinburgh for a few days. We also liked the large flat screen smart TV. 'I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.'

'This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. 'We really enjoyed our stay at this flat! The location was fantastic - steps away from the Royal Mile and Grassmarket. The only reason I don’t give the property 5 stars is due to some small maintenance issues and complications with check in. The sliding door was broken in the shower and had been removed so the water sprayed onto the floor the whole time you were showering and the latch on the freezer door was broken as well. Nothing that ruined our trip, and the property was very clean otherwise....

'Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...
