'Quiet, spaceous room which was very clean. The pub served delicious food and there is a fabulous little cafe next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when visiting family again. 'Dit huisje ligt op een park waar veel huisjes kriskras geplaatst zijn. Ons huisje lag verscholen tussen bossages en we konden het in eerste instantie dan ook niet vinden. De locatie en het klimaat zorgden er misschien voor dat het bij eerste binnenkomst wat muf rook. Maar het was verder helemaal spic&span! 'The Seagate was on the estuary in lovely Appledore. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed here before and after a trip to Lundy. The first night was in room7 which was spacious and you could just about see the sea. The second night in room 9 which had a completely frosted window and was small. The pub food was good. I particularly liked the ceasar salad . Would return.'
