'My friend (with infant) and I came to the island to visit and soak up some nature. Our stay in Buckley Bay provided beautiful views of the bay, with frequent visits from the seals and otters. The location, while a little ways outside of the main centres, was only a short drive to get to a cafe, nature walks, and restaurants. The house feels very spacious with large bedrooms and ample sitting space to cozy up with a cup of tea or good book.'

'The cabin itself is close to perfect; spacious; all amenities present and....what a view! Everytime you walk into the main living space you will be stopped in your paces by the view! There is however quite a note; as peaceful as the views are; they are counteracted by the noise of the highway. Sitting on the deck is not that peaceful with permanent car/truck/bike noises. The public access parking is also right next to the property.'

'The house was really lovely and like new. Nicely appointed with any kitchen gadget you could need and the overall amenities were great. We had our dog with us and it was wonderful having a fully enclosed lot around the house. It’s next door to a gorgeous trail system in the forest with access to Seal Bay park. We’ll definitely stay again!'

'We got together with our large family for Thanksgiving/Christmas. A Christmas tree was set up for us. The kitchen was exactly what we needed to cook and feed a big crowed and there was lots of space for everyone to breath. It had everything and more. "De keuze voor hotels voor iemand die geen hoofdprijs wil betalen in deze omgeving is beperkt, ook dit hotel valt zeker niet in de categorie voordelig maar het is betaalbaar. De kamers zijn schoon maar erg klein, amper plek om de koffers te openen, wel twee slaapkamer(tjes)en keukentje wat prettig is. We kregen een mail dat we moesten inchecken voor 17.00 wat bijna niet mogelijk is met de wegafsluiting, gelukkig was het geen probleem dat we later waren maar het voelde wel ongemakkelijk. En dan t grote probleem vooral als je met een puber reist, de kwaliteit van de WiFi was echt heel slecht, je werd er constant afgegooid en alles was zeer traag."
