Centraal hotel
We hebben een fijn weekend gehad, de kamer was ruim, netjes en schoon. Wel wat aan de warme kant door de niet werkende airco. Het hotel ligt centraal, vlakbij de metro dus je kunt alle kanten op in deze mooie stad.

Goed hotel !
Wij waren onder de indruk van dit hotel. Misschien vooral door de uitermate vriendelijke medewerkers. Goede kennis van de toeristische mogelijkheden. Kaarten voor de hop op bus kon je bij hun bestellen. Ook onze hotelkamer was goed. Groot bed en lag ook nog goed. Lekker bad. Balkon met zitje. Goede stoelen . Centrum op 15 m lopen. Wij hebben genoten.

Mamaison Hotel Andrassy Budapest
Voor romantisch uitstapje naar Boedapest begin april in Adrassy Hotel verbleven. Nette moderne kamer met goede en grote bedden en ondanks dat het hotel aan de brede Andrassy Utca ligt, was het 's-nachts heerlijk stil. Klein minpuntje was een wat groezelige vlek op de sprei. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vlak bij het hotel is een metrostation waarmee je zo aan de Donau of naar Buda komt. Boedapest is een heerlijk ontspannen stad met veel te zien en doen en met gezellige terrasjes aan het water. Ook nog opera bezocht in t Russisch met Hongaarse boventitels dus was wat lastig te volgen, maar ze schijnen soms ook Duitse boventitels te hebben. Al met al een geslaagd tripje.

Andrassy is een stijlvol hotel, zeer klantvriendelijk en in fijne toegankelijke buurt.
Eind mei 2010 hebben we (mijn moeder en ik) 4 nachten in het Andrassy hotel geslapen. Een fijne kamer, stijilvol, ruim, mooie badkamer. Als verrassing had het hotel een fles champagne in de kamer klaargezet ivm 65e verjaardag van mijn moeder. De heren van de receptie hebben ons goed geholpen met reserveren van de Opera, van een boottocht en andere toeristische tips. Het hotel ligt aan de "Champs Elysee" van Budapest, een hele fijne/rustige buurt vlakbij het belangrijke "Helden" plein. Het hotel is goed toegankelijk met de monumentale metro, in 15 minuten ben je downtown. Andrassy is een absolute aanrader!

Beetje tegenvallend
Voor een hotel met zoveel pretenties valt verblijf toch beetje tegen. Welkoms champagne perfect. (Bad)Kamer echter niet geheel schoon en teveel meubilair in kamer. En relax stoel is perfect voor de zaken reiziger die niet in de bar wil hangen, maar er was geen plaats voor. Helaas. Heb in verschillende andere hotels gelogeerd die beter waren.

Deluxe King room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Cleaning of the room was patchy. Glasses and cups weren’t cleaned. Provision of toiletries was a bit stingy and charging for coffee capsules is ridiculous in a hotel of this standard. Minor irritants because I would certainly recommend the hotel for all its pluses.

We spent 3 nights for our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. The location is lovely, far enough away to be quiet but close enough for a leisurely walk to the centre. We had an issue with the bath and they were quick to apologise and move us to another room. Outstanding service, we can see why it has so many good reviews

Excellent hotel in good location.
First time at Mamaison Hotel Andrassy. Good location with excellent transport links. Rooms are well furnished. Bathroom contained a bath/shower combination, but the bath had very high sides which might pose access problems to those less able. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of both hot and cold foods. The hotel promotes its green credentials, however it would be better if they did away with the numerous bathroom products in small plastic containers and replaced with dispensers. All in all, would recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay here for 4 nights last week. We had king deluxe rooms and they were huge with balconies overlooking the Korean embassy opposite. We were staying with our two teenage children and the hotel accommodated us well by allocating rooms next to each other.. Breakfast was not included and was expensive but was a good selection. Would definitely stay here again- walking distance from the Szchenyi baths, zoo, circus, museums and fantastic kids playground (def worth a visit for kids aged 3-12). There are also metro stations within 5 minute walk with access to the Danube and other attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very helpful arranging transportation. The elevator was too, too small. We could only get the two of us and my walker to squeeze in! Fortunately my son came as well and he managed the luggage. Didn’t ask, but I’m sure the staff would have waited with the luggage and send it up. The tub was so high I could barely lift my feet over it. No grab bars so I felt very unsafe!!! Europe is easy for those with physical challenges. Of course there were not any face cloths.

Unfortunately I have to confirm what other reviews have said. On the first day you choose how you'd like your room to be cleaned. When we clme back to the room the bed is BARELY redone. On the second day as we didn't get another paper to choose how it was to be cleaned, we believed it was going to be the same day one but they did not touch the room at all. In general the hotel is not a 4 stars.
